Akon caught lightning in a bottle when he signed pop sensation Lady Gaga. The Konvict Muzik CEO thinks he's found her male counterpart in Jeffree Starr.

In an interview with DrJay's.com Akon talks about the "next big thing" in his opinion

"Ah man, they are not ready." Akon says. "I just signed a kid named Jeffree Star, he will be the next biggest thing. To me he's like the male version of Gaga, in the aspect that you have to see it to understand it."

It's a joke, dummies. There can't "another Lady Gaga." She's a highly trained musician with a long track record in the business, who finally put it all together. Akon had nothing to do with "creating" her, so he couldn't do it again (any moreso than Berry Gordy could create another MJ). Dude simply had the good sense and good timing to sign her at the right time (after Def Jam let her go).
