Republicans Want to see a failed state especially with the demographic changes that are going on in this country right now I told people this along time ago white people going out the door is going to fuck up shit and you are starting to see the process of that right now.

the toll of COVID and the aftermath of this storm in Texas could've mitigated if ppl werent so ignorant and greedy.

Once again Texas is going to have to make some big changes or they are going to repeat this every few years. Also one thing that I seen throughout this whole mess is the new houses in Texas are made of shit

Just now getting back to my house for good after spending most of the week with in-laws who got power back (in and out) sooner than I did.
All that independent spirit of Texas has its drawbacks during times like this.

I learned about this a very long time ago when my uncle drove his new caddy up from Miss for thanksgiving one year. It was the smoothest riding car I'd ever been in, and I'd been in lots of nice cars by then. Came to find out it was the tires. They weren't bald but didn't have any nubbing or cleats like what we all used as all weather tires. A couple days later and after two inches of snow he couldn't even get out of the driveway.
