what about a Macbook air?????????
what about a Macbook air?????????
what about a Macbook air?????????
i went bleeding edge and got the 1G Macbook Air. worst mac purchase i've ever made. slow as shit. gets hot a lot so the fan spins constantly. notorious hinge problem (although Mac has repaired it for free, had to get it repaired 2x, once was my fault).what about a Macbook air?????????
So they never mess up at all? I was at the mac store in the mall the other day researching and I saw tons of fru fru white folks in their bringing in their macs with all sorts of problems. Please clarify.
Sure they mess up. They mess up all the time but I like what audio syndicate said not so much because I agree with what he is saying but his list are all the positives about purchasing a computer.
Now weather or not you want to adopt that solution is up to you and a different issue entirely. But don't give me CAC talking points and tell me macs don't break or that its magic and that you will never have a problem because they do break and you will have trouble, eventually. I own one. It was a nice experience but the software is broken and bloated and I hate that pinwheel shit. But good points audio syndicate without the bullshit that usually show up in threads like this.

If you want a truly BAD ASS laptop, check out the Sony VAIO Z Series coming in March. This shit is an absolute BEAST!
Announced at CES with a "late Spring" availability, we just got word that the Core i7-620M pumpin' VAIO Z series from Sony will be hitting Europe in late March. The Z's biggest claim to fame is its ultra-fast Quad SSD, a rather unique Sony innovation that writes data in parallel to four SSDs (up to 256GB total capacity in RAID 0) at speeds up to 6.2x faster than typical 5400 rpm laptop hard disks. Sony also fits the Z with a hybrid graphics solution that combines 1GB of NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M with Intel HD graphics allowing you to automatically (or manually) switch between "speed" and "stamina" modes... presumably without requiring a logout if we're reading "dynamic" correctly. Rounding out the specs are 6GB of DDR3 SDRAM, 802.11n WiFi, integrated optical drive, and optional VAIO Everywair 3G mobile broadband module all stuffed into this 13.1-inch laptop with 1920 x 1080 pixel LED backlit display with 210 x 23.8-32.7 x 314mm and 1.43kg footprint. Power AND portability? Come give us a hug Sony.

Fuck the fanboys Macbooks are overpriced waste of money. Get a good sony Vaio. For the money you spend on a macbook you can buy 2 to 3 very good laptops. Computers outdate fast especially mac's All people can argue is the errors and virus that some people get(people who dont know shit about computers)
^^^^^
This argument has been the main reason I've never bought one.
It is the principal reason I will probably never get another one. Besides, I can get all that functionality and more from Kubuntu 4.4. Man, the developers have show'd out with this one.
But that's another thread.

a lotta Broke nigga talk In here
I don't want to be categorized as a PC/Windows hater, but Vista has really turned me off on Windows. I forgave windows for ME (arguably the worst OS ever) and Windows 200 wasn't bad, but the regression with Vista has done it for me. I will keep my desktop but I plan on taking the Mac plunge after they update the MBP.
How's it broke nigga talk to value your money? Do you know how people get rich in many cases? By not spending money on unnecessary expenses. It's the reason why I drive a 10 year old car and save over 20k a year. I watch how I spend my money and make educated decisions on the smallest amount.
I try to find a deal anywhere I can. And trust me my office looks like Best Buy, people say I'm a gadget junky but they don't know that I research heavily before I waste cash.
