Copped it with my Bae in Buckhead last night.
She did her thing in her action scenes.
Storyline, plot, and character development was nothing we haven't seen before.
I supported because I am a fan, have supported sub-par white flicks, and she executive produced.

I just came back from seeing it. I didn’t go to rotten tomatoes or read any reviews prior to going. I wanted to go in with a clean slate and form my own opinion.
With that being said, I’m all for black films but it wasn’t good at all. It had so much potential but my God it was cringeworthy. Cheesy acting, cheesy lines, and predictable outcomes.

Cinemark thought it would have a larger turn out in the area. They showed it on their XD screen, only 15 people in the theater.
9 of those were Taraji fans.

Funny you say that. Me an the lady went to see this movie friday but it was pretty full only had seats in the front row, so we saw commuter instead. Commuter is ok, moviepass certified probably wouldn't have paid to see it.
As far as the XD, some theaters let you book it with moviepass others you will have to get the regular ticket then go pay the up charge. I do it every time an action movie come out, I have to upgrade to the 4DX ticket.
Female friend of mine said it was ass. I'll spend a matinee for 4 bucks if I'm bored.

When I want to watch a XD or 3D movie with moviepass...
In the moviepass app you have to select a 2D movie playing at a theater.
I'll pick the most expensive ticket there is which is a night time movie. Movie pass card is activated for 30min so you can buy your ticket (by my calculations MoviePass releases $13.50 on the card). Since I went around noon, XD price is $9, I go to the box office or automated kiosk and pay for it with MP card. The movie and time you select in moviepass app doesn't have to be the same as the ticket you by at the box office or kiosk. The price of the ticket has to be less than the max on the card
What I also do is buy tickets for a future date in person then convert it at the box office to XD or 3D ticket.
If you convert a night time 2D ticket to night time 3D or XD you will pay the difference. Those are more expensive than 2D.
Days I'm not watching a movie I'll stop by theater and get tix for future shows. I use those to watch more than 1 movie a day with MP if I choose. Just convert them to movie I want to see.
Once you get a hang of it, its easy and becomes second nature.

You can also pay the difference at the kiosk. The only problem is you run the risk of getting kicked off movie pass if the catch it. I know people whom always pay the difference also you can use what is left at the concession stand but again do it at your own risk. Movie pass like the mob they kick your ass off you can’t register again for 6 to 9 months. If you seen a matinee you can buy two tickets.
I've seen commercials for it and it looks wack.To have an action movie with a woman, especially a black woman, it has to be really good.I hope this movie doesn't bomb and set a division between black men and women over support.
Yeah it is just the conspiracy theorist in me.My antennas are up because of the coincidence of this random movie with a sista coming out with so much momentum with Black Panther. I can count on one hand how many action movies with sistas starring that came out in my lifetime but by coincidence one comes out now and it looks super wack and set up to fail.
