I wonder if it's less about courage and more that Republicans are just generally better at politics.

Democrats are too much about decorum and moral victories. since 2000 they're 2-5 in presidential elections, but hey, at least they're 5-0 on the popular vote right? They put so much emphasis on winning that unimportant popular vote that they've neglected the Senate, House and state governor races.

The Republicans also do a better job at reaching out to their base. Look at the connection between the Republican party and groups like the NRA and Focus on the Family. Now look at the Democrat connection to the ACLU or Planned Parenthood. Republicans fight like hell for the laws their core supporters want while Democrats take their most loyal followers for granted.

If democrats want to retake power they need to stop playing by rules that don't work. maybe that's where the courage Comes in though.

And the electoral college isn't going anywhere soon so are democrats finished for the foreseeable future?

regardless of what you are saying, it doesnt take away from her winning the vote margin by 2.5+mill and growing; 5 times more than al gore winning over bush, 5 times!!!; more than the last 10 presidents; so all that other dumb shit about hillary aint this or that, its really not accurate; for all the shit she aint, her voting numbers as it relates to the last 10 presidents are impressive...

And no Dems are not finish; Wisconsin hasnt voted for a Republican president since the 80s; So there are plenty of things that Dems can do to improve their situation as it relates to the electoral college; But that doesnt take away from the fact that the system is inherently racist and needs to be changed...

The real truth is that both parties are bought and paid for...when you run Democrats who are like Republicans you might as well go with the Republican.

Bad campaigning. As you said, they don't connect with their constituency, but they are bought and paid for... So, they get 40% instead of 60% of corporate money.
The reasons are endless.

It's the other way around. republicans get bigger donations because they win. nobody funds the campaign if a politician can't do anything for them

The point is this. I give candidate of party A 600k. I give candidate of party B 400k. I win no matter who wins. So, we fund weak candidates of part B. There are some ideological differences but nothing that I care about as long as they do my bidding. This is the system we have.

Yeah, but the left just wants to believe that everyone put on klan robes and went to the polls. They wanted it to be one way, but it's not. Sure, there were racists who supported Trump, but there were also supporters who voted Obama before(maybe even twice) and were just disgruntled.

And then the party forced a candidate that isn't likable down America's through, while Trump isn't likable but his rise was organic.

When your running for president, You still have to sell yourself, Its just like selling cars. You can have the nicest, flyest cars on the parkin lot. But if you lack personality, and charisma, Your still going to be a terrible salesman,

Where as a person can have average cars on his parkin lot, but if the salesman has charimsa and a good personality, he will get more sales because at the end of the day, people feel they can have a beer with him.

These lawyers are glorified bureaucrats, not expert policy hawks.

She set back the progress of women in politics, it will take many generations before the memory of her is faded. We need female politicians that can win on their own without their husband being President; this will weed out failures.

Look at what Biden did with KH, not picking somebody exhibited any type of success in the private sector or politically. She won unopposed in California which is a solid blue state, it was basically a Democratic primary special election.

Trump won 2016 mainly on the “What If…?” vote.

Everyone knew what we were gonna get with Hillary in the office.

Spending all her time bending over backwards to give the GOP what they wanted with her Neo-Liberalism and Bi-Partisanship BS.

Trump was seen primarily as a Washington outsider with no direct connections to any politics.

If Hillary had won in 2016, folks would all be thinking “What If…?” Trump had won and actually made good on all his promises.

Being Trump was in there for 4 years and did nothing for nobody except Wall Street and Billionaires, it makes him impossible to win in 2024.

If you notice, Trump at his rallies never brings up what he done in the 4 years in office. His key legislation was the Tax Cuts that we are all feeling right now.
