But I wasnt trading my Accord in for it, and I cant do two car notes. But at its base, its a 4 door hatch for 36k. I can justify that purchase to the Mrs.

I'm ready for them to take my Chevy equinox. I was able to make payments. But the dam engine seized up on me, without warning. And it's going to cost more to fix. Then what I owe on it. I couldn't afford no warranty on it. That's why I'm letting it go.
I have bought 2 new cars in my life. I've kept those cars for 11 (till it just stopped running) and 9 (so far) years. Buying a new car is okay if you aren't the kind of person who needs a new car every 3-4 years and take care of what you have. It does feel sweet when you don't have to worry about a car payment once you've paid the car off.

You could get stuck in a lease paying for a car that is over heating.....oh it is overheating it is covered by bumper to bumper warranty right....ideally but they can fuck you over.
