Why Americans are suddenly paying $550 per month for new cars

My neighbor just copped an 07 MB S600 that has all of that tech that’s required in whips now.. shit is wild how a 12 yr old car was 10 years ahead of its time...

He said he paid 17,500 for it with 68k miles... he paid less than what he could have bought a new Honda or Toyota the build quality is 300 times better..
That Benz will eat a hole in his pockets when it starts falling apart. If a headlight goes out you need to replace the entire unit which is $2500. He’s in for a world of hurt unless he’s fine blowing thousands on maintenance. There’s a reason why they depreciate so fast. Most people lease and dump before the warranty runs out.

Not only that the dmv won’t even process your registration if their is a bank lean on your title and you only have liability insurance lmaooo
Funny story, the salmon that sold me my car years ago told me how he had bought a new mini an for his family but living in NY the insurance is crazy high, so this fool changed insurance to liability a month after purchasing the car,
got into an accident and totaled it, he owed money on a car he does not own anymore, SMH!

Bro it’s a 12 year old whip don’t you think the shit will start failing now? Lmaooo lucky for him the car was dealer maintained and was a one owner..

he would be a fool to have his car dealer maintained... an Indy mechanic who specialize in German cars will save his half the cost of what a dealer will charge
not always the case, I got a quote from a Indy place that costed more than what the dealership was asking for on a scheduled maintenance.

my car was due for a 60k schedule A maintanence, dealership wanted $1600, i looked up what was required, bought all the parts and paid a mobile mechanic to do it for me.
this was spark plug change, I paid him $100
I changed the filters myself
went to a mom and pop type spot for my oil change and brake flush ( the are ASC certified)
dealership wanted way too much for all of that, lol

they got me this morning though, check engine came on last night, $900 to change an o2 sensor
I'm going to buy the tool to read error codes and purchase the parts myself, what I can fix myself I will and other work will be outsourced.

Jag, why are you ruining his ducktales, bruh? If a person posts some stupid shit like that, they've never financed a new car. Ain't NO bank let you get less than full coverage, and if you let your shit lapse, the insurance company will contact the bank and tell them.
Typical Bgol. Always trying to justify their bad life decisions and coping co-signs for it.

gotta pay for all these new high tech features in these cars. i be damned if i buy a new one tho. stay 2-4 years behind the current year and buy certified used. cars depreciate too quick unless you plan on keeping it

Nonsense. If you buy it and finance it, you always have to maintain full coverage.
If you didn’t finance it and paid cash fir a new car then only a worthless and stupid person would leave himself exposed to such risk in order to save $700 on full coverage. Lol.
I made that point it you leasr you have to maintain full coverage.

What risk does a person run having their car in storage the months they not driving it? Only a idiot would not understand why someone would not want to pay full coverage on a car they dont drive 365 days out the year.

Only an idiot would believe that's possible. You will breach your lease agreement. It's mandatory.

What car you have? You shouldve been had a scan tool... and you can change the O2 sensors yourself

You can tell who actually read your posts and who read what someone else posted in response to yours.

They say you wanna hide something from a black person put it in a book. Cuz they dont read. And you prove this statement.

No wonder i allways son yall in debates.

Niggas agreeing with me when i said you have to maintain full coverage if you lease but calling me stupid. Niggas to stupid or slow to read that i agreed you have to maintain full coverage. But when you dont read and just read someone elses reply who also didnt read....you end up co signing someone that co signed me. :hithead:

Oh you think so.....This is back in 2015 it is worse now.

Michigan requires you have PIP

Just watched that vid.. if folk in Detriot can afford the car note but not the insurance there’s an easy fix to that.. folk need to get an address is North Michigan someone far away from Detriot as possible, family member homes address, PO Box or whatever.. They now have to change their driver license address to the new address and they should do it prob 6months to a year before they buy their new car.. once they got everything set up then they can comfortably get insurance on their new whip and only pay $900 for the year..

It’s a reasons Detriot is getting fucked on insurance rates

Lease or finance a bank REQUIRES full coverage insurance..

Truth I hope you know cars now are way more reliable than cars from the 90s and 80s
Oh I know but German cars are still far more expensive to maintain and have more issues. You can’t even change your own oil on an Audi.

I have a 14 CLA 250

Man no disrespect get rid of that shit, ain’t nothing more bogus than a Benz they cut corners on quality control because of mass production... That trim ain’t built with the same materials and quality as the E class and Up

Show me where i said or implied a bank or dealerships will allow you to finance a car w/out full coverage. :itsawrap:

With reading comprehension skills :colin:as your are displaying i can tell you been fucked out of contracts cuz you simply could not read. I know you never read a book. I know any education you have is western based.

Actually, oil changes on an Audi are easy especially when you use a vacuum pump; the tube fits in the dip stick slot. Amazon has pumps ranging from $60 to $80. There is really no need to jack the car up. I'm an Audi owner that changes the oil every 5k to 7k miles rather than every 10k.

You're a dunce and it's embarrassing. Why the fuck would I buy a depreciating asset just to store it and not use it while it depreciates because I am trying to save money on full coverage. You can't make this type of BGOL stupidity up.

Yes... I think that is the route I'm going next time. Removing the splash guard was the real pain in the ass...everything else is standard fare..

So understanding not leasing a car if you can buy it out right is bad life decisions.....ironic that the statement applies more to you.
No, idiot. Not buying full coverage on a car that you paid cash for is utterly stupid. As I said, only worthless people do that and it appears that the shoe fits.

This would be a smart statement to say to me if i ever made or implied that you do not need full coverage to lease a car.

So ill ask you the same question i asked the other guy that displayed terrible reading skills.

"Show me where i said or implied a bank or dealerships will allow you to finance a car w/out full coverage. "

And in terms of getting a address up north if you get into a car accident in detroit they will not cover you if you dont live at your address. You run the risk of fraud.......Insurance companies clamping down on this shit really tight. No more 7 day insurance or none of that.

Stop it Doc. An oil change is only $89 with a coupon. My wife's car is at 66k miles with no issues and she says she will drive it until 15ok miles.

You said that in telling me how it made more sense to buy a car instead of leasing. So to you that's the main reason why people should buy cars. LOL. Try again.

Your mom and your dad must be brothers and sisters. Cuz you are a special kind of retarded. After this thread im walkin out your life just like your father did.

You also cant read. I blame the school system though. I never said you should or should not get full coverage. I said you have the option* of choosing your insurance. Do you know what the word option means? Should i teach you that?

Ill reiterate again which probably wont matter cuz i know you now have a 2nd grade reading level.

If you dont drive your car all year around.......ya know some people dont drive they cars all year around. If you have a car you dont drive all year around and leasing it and paying full coverage you are the idiot for not understanding why this isnt a smart move financially.

I know it hurts your brain to read but try to read it ssssssllllllloooooooowwwwwww:clown
