Tears man...tears...

Now Simon and Nick can both say they are DW alum...waiting for appearances by Benedict and Martin...

The synopsis for the Christmas special says Clara will be with him...do you think the little Arab boy is going to be with her and we go back to DW roots having a kid on board, or what? Speaking of kids, I want Courtney back.

Sooo are they just gonna write off Clara meeting her great grandson earlier in the season?

SEE IT: Dalek-style robot security guard patrols in Silicon Valley, equipped with crime prevention gadgets

The K5 androids may not be armed like RoboCop, but have a host of data gathering tools to alert the human police force to any wrongdoing.

The rise of the robot security guard has begun.

Crime-fighting robots which can spot suspicious behavior and alert handlers at a control center are reportedly about to be deployed across Silicon Valley.

The imposing 300-pound RoboCop-style machines, which stand at 5-feet tall, look like they're straight out of a sci-fi movie, according to KPIX 5.

But they are unarmed.

A handful of the K5 androids are currently being trialed by California creator Knightscope in its San Francisco Bay Area HQ of Mountain View.

Its inventors hope that one day the Dalek-like bots will eventually patrol malls, offices, college campuses and even local neighborhoods.

The robots come equipped with a host of futuristic gadgets.

They have microphones, heat detectors, speakers, laser scanners, GPS, odor detectors and air pollution monitors — and can read up to 300 car number plates per minute.

A button is located on the top of its "head" which can be pressed down by anyone who needs help.
And they are designed to be "autonomous" — meaning they operate alone. They don't chase suspects down and try to "avoid confrontations" in general.

Knightscope co-founder Stacy Stephens said if someone steps in front of one of the robots, it will stop and move around them — while recording and transmitting footage to its control center.

f the wannabe crook continues, "the robot is looking at the video, listening for glass breakage, any loud sound that breaking in would cause," he told KPIX 5.

"We'll get the license plate, picture of the vehicle, geotag location, and time," he added.
The company has so far built seven robots. Four of them will be deployed by the end of the year, reports KPIX 5.
They are currently being tested in an undisclosed area of the San Francisco Bay Area.

"Unfortunately, I cannot share who it is. Soon you will see them everywhere," Stephens added.

That is creepy. After learning about Five Nights at Freddy's I'm even more creeped out.

Tangerines anyone?

They don't need weapons, they have dildo mode where they anchor themselves to the ground and shove themselves up the perpetrators ass until the authorities arrive. The jump out has turned into jump in.

Rumor has it that they had to rewrite the ending cause Coleman signed on for another season at the last minute.

Clara: OMG I lived a full life and did everything I ever wanted to do.
Dr. Who: Uhhh No. We need to get the young chick back. Fuck yo dreams, granny!

Here is what I got:

How cool is it that Nick Frost was Saint Nick? And he did a good job too. Someone out there in the netosphere suggested that Frost and Simon Pegg team up on an episode...but we had Simon Pegg on an episode during the 9th's run...and he was killed...wonder how that would work out...

Inception was definitely on my mind. But somehow I couldn't understand why the Doctor would make Santa so snarky...then we get to the end and we see the tangerine in the tree. From experience we know that the 'preview' of the Christmas special in the last episode of the season doesn't always correlate with the actual episode. That aside, we are not really to believe that Santa was not real...right?

That brings me to the next thing: the dreams and how they were manifested. The Doctor said that he must have been attacked first, (which means that his brain should be the most mush), and that the crabs found Clara through his subconsciousness. Everyone else was collateral damage. I don't understand how much sense this makes...even if you factor in that the only man in the North Pole group is really the son of the 2nd. But let's say that it doesn't make sense because it can't...yet. Just like the 11th was infected with the DreamLord spore thingy, let's play around and say that was broken off from these crabs. Somehow they found their way through space and time and have now infected Earth.

...IF the Doctor and Clara really are still in a dream, that can lead us to believe that maybe nothing in the coming season is real a la Amy being pregnant. Or the tangerine was just there in the tree to fuck with us. Let's say they are not still in the dream...does that mean we get more Nick Frost at Saint Nick? I hope so.

Which brings me to things that I don't get completely based on observation and readings:

Where is the little guy Danny sent back?

If the volcano where the Doctor woke up from his dream crab is where he and Clara was in the last of the season, does that mean that he was in his head last season? How would that play in with Missy returning?

Blonde chick from the North Pole crew...new companion? Knowing that the ending was rewritten and that Coleman may only be with us for half of the season, this could point to something new...maybe they will pull a Donna and bring her in after the fact instead of immediately. This might be a good thing since chick seems like the personality that would jump into things...

Also, the show hired a female writer. Stereotypically females pay attention to the small details so maybe she can help to correct some of the small things that we as fans have been asking questions to but have been overlooked.

All this and before we get another season we STILL have to wait another four months for Orphan Black...blasphemy.

Where is the little guy Danny sent back?
I keep asking this. How much time has passed? Is his family still alive? Why didn't Clara raise him?

And what about her so called great grandson? Is Danny coming back or no?

I'm really ready for Clara to go and I think that the over all theme of the episode was to bring them back together in the end. Imma be real mad if the next season is one big Dallas rip off

I sort of think that it might be. Maybe.

I think the idea of Clara was well founded, 'the impossible girl'. But after Oswin from Asylum of the Daleks, the writers refused to let her be that feisty one, (probably because she came after Amy). I don't really think they know/knew what to do with her character and Coleman not sure if she is going to leave or stay I don't think helps with the writers either.

If she indeed does only stay for half the season this might help to tie up some loose ends...even if they don't address the undead boy, they HAVE to address the descendents of Danny Pink...right?

I Was Thinking About That Whole What if the season finale was a dream thing. Which would make sense seeing how the finale was so far fetched and not realistic to me. That would justify bringing Danny back. But Yea th doctor woke up in the same volcano where him and Clara were. Is that why they had the interaction?

Am I the only one confused about these dream States didn't he say that the crab was suppose to give nice dreams while it eats you? I feel like they all just had nightmare on top of nightmare.

This season has left me with question after questions

Yep.

More than likely next season should start somewhere around August.

Don't forget Orphan Black, season three start in April.

Happy new year to you.

Ok, so I can catch up, and binge out!

Still David Tennant is my all time favorite doctor, besides Tom Baker.

An of course, my favorite companion . . . . Martha Jones. I'll spare you the details, but basically the things I would do with her would get ME banned from BGOL. :D

Happy New Year!

Yeah, I would agree though, Martha is my favorite too. She was strong and knew her worth. And 10 knew it was his loss too.

Tennant was good. His hair is creeping me out on Gracepoint though (gotta compare it to Broadchurch).

It's weird though, cause I liked 9, (Eccolston, sp). Then we got 10 and it's all "I don't want Tennant to go!" *enter famous line from his departure episode*

Then we get 11 and with Amy and Rory and the River Song love dance, we all go "Aw!"

I don't think we have had enough time to get to LOVE 12 yet...but he's been cantankerous and angry eyebrows (you'll get there). My problem with this season and last season (11th last) was that the idea was there but the little details somehow got missing. I don't see it as an actor problem - "no one was better than the 10th!" - it's a writer problem.

I'm excited to see what the female writer is going to bring. Hear me? EXCITED.

I think Rose was by far the best companion, she was ride or die for the doctor. But man Martha Jones was by far the finest. Freema Agyeman is one sexy beast. Considering Martha Jones & Mickey are still alive though they are long overdue some time of cameo, hell they should have been in the 50th anniversary.

They actually are a married couple fighting aliens in the novels and I think on the BBC radio shows too. That ending when 10 saves them from a Sauntarian (spell check) before he regenerates was a nod to that.

It might be nice to get a miniseries of them two in between seasons (I think dude who played Micky might be too old...if you remember him from the beginning of second Star Trek he was the one who blew up the building) kinda like Sarah Jane. In fact I'm still waiting on the Madame Vastra miniseries.
