Son, you're every bit indoctrinated. It's laughable that you presume to speak on what I've been fed all my life, while regurgitating what YOU have been fed. For someone who fancies themselves a critical thinker, you seem to have only gotten the critical part right. Now, try thinking, instead of assuming. You sound like you got a little knowledge in the joint and went Google happy when you got out. There's no difference between the Christian sheep who quote pastors, but have no original thoughts of their own and cats Black Israelite-types like you who claim to have gotten the secret decoder ring to all the scriptures in your cereal box this morning. C'mon, cuz, you're I know indoctrination and dogma when I see it.
Um... You're repeating the same thing I've already said about 'cheerful giving'. You're simply stuck on the fact that I refuse to call 'cheerful giving' 'tithing'. If YOU were using common sense you would see that you're simply echoing MY previously stated sentiments about the illegitimacy of tithing. But, being the dogmatic one here, you're not able to grasp the concept beyond the Old Testament rule of Law. Say what you will about the sheep who tithe to prosperity ministers, but their mentality is just like yours. You've just drawn different conclusions. But indoctrinated dogma is still indoctrinated dogma.
You cannot seem to grasp the tithing of the law. Here I will make it simple IT IS NOT MONEY ITS SIMPLY GIVING TO THE NEEDY . Now use some common sense and ask yourself this Is creflo dollar or any other preacher needy? then move to the next question do they accept anything apart from money.
See how silly it feels to you
Tell me one Pastor in christianity that needy vulnerable that accepts anything apart from money
just one
More ad hominems? lol This guy. The only waste of time is trying to show an indoctrinated dogmatic person that they are indeed indoctrinated and dogmatic. The very nature of their disposition does not allow them to conceive of their own condition. Again, none so blind...More ad hominems
Show me one example of this indoctrination and then let me teach you about textual critism of scripture. You seem to think because you don't like something then it's dogma and indoctrination. I haven't even spouted one word of a doctrine and yet you are spouting supercession, constantinism and even downright word fabrication(claiming the word commandment means law). this is just all too comical because you seem to wasting energy on name calling rather than showing where you claim you know,

Why so ad hominem? So now your argument has come full circle because of your realization of how silly it is to claim that tithing is not applicable and not in the new testamentLet me ask you this where did you get the silly notion that tithing is not cheerful? surely by this assumption you have revealed yourself to be the one indoctrinated. Have you even bothered to read what tithing entails?
Anyone that obeys the tithing of the law would never give a penny to any christian minister for one reason THEY ARE NOT LEVITES. What you see with prosperity ministers is not TITHING it's FLEECING, am surprised for someone like that pretends to know scripture mistaking it for tithing
This is church. You obviously haven't read the Bible either because it in no way supports Creflo's pimp ass shit. Tithing (and I assume you're referring to Creflo's incessant refrain) was under The Most High's old law to establish a revenue system for the Levite priests (Yah's priesthood--i.e. those in charge of teh Ark of the Covenant among other duties) without an inheritance, and to help feed the poor. Tithes mostly were food, live-stock and what not. Money was taken in, but was used to purchase more food, grains, fruit, etc. Preachers in the Christian church always use one example from Heb. 7:1-10 (there are a couple more, but trying to keep this short)to justify the 10% shit.
Because people simply hate to read (even the Bible like they are called to do), they let the Dollar's of the world lead them around by the nose.
Pimps like Creflo, Benny Hinn, Kenneth Copeland, Joel Osteen, T.D. Jakes, Juanita Bynum, etc. prey upon the ignorance of the people who flow into their churches every Sunday (btw NOT the Sabbath) to get their fix. It's part of the prosperity hustle where they spout that "sow a seed (read: give me money lol) and get blessed" bullshit. Nowhere in the Bible does it say (except in certain isolated instances) you have to take 10% of your earnings and give them to some preacher so he can pay the note on his private jet or whatever. Yah is not a hypocrite nor is he partial (see Gen. 28:20-22, lol Jacob promised to tithe only if The Most High did something for him first, lol).
If you're going to bash the Bible, so be it, but please, don't be a bandwagon jumper and go around spouting shit for the "cool" kids and lump everyone in with the Christian crowd. Peace.
He pretty much nailed it.Sr. Pastor Antonio Thomas breaks it down for you
I have seen these pics before. House location looks mad familiar but I can't figure out quite where he stays. Anybody know? Looks like a crib on Riverside but I could be wrong.
At the end of the day, giving and tithing are used interchangeably but are not one in the same. Bottom line is, unless someone is in need or my pastor is a Levite, I ain't handin' over JACK!This perfectly highlights the stupidity among pastors. For the frst 8 minutes he was speaking sense until he regurgitated the false christian mantra of the law of the old testament is no longer in effectThis is why pastors still command power over the black community because most of the message is good but the final outcome is deceit.
This is church.
