A thread that is about Floyd, but formulated to not include Floyd so that when people bring Floyd... he can talk shit about Floyd.
It is the same as someone creating a thread about the 'biggest known cheater of recent years'... knowing that someone will say Pac just because he is a high profile boxer that raises a lot of questions and then bashing Pac...
Why do we need a P4P for the past 2 years... shit in two years, Lamont Peterson is in the running for being on a top ten list just off the Ortiz fight alone. Inactivity in a two year window when most of the top guys may have had 3 - 4 fights...Klitzchko without question should be on everyone's list for years of dominance but for the last two years...

At this point I've sort of lost interest in debates about Floyd and Manny... I'm more in line with rating who is actually fighting, and fighting the best fights... That's why I wouldn't include Floyd as my P4P top spot, not based on his past and a win over Ortiz, that is not in the spirit of what a current P4P list is... P4P overall for the last 10 years, yes, but current, nah, not after one fight. As far as Manny, he had me fooled for a minute, but I realize now, he is the product of extremely intelligent match making, but he's done it with smoke and mirrors also...

He is not rated in the Top 10 or even spoken of as one of the best fighters pound for pound, he is highly rated in his division AND he has beaten, all he has faced over the past two or three years, with the exception of Kessler, including a man who, BHop has been glorified for beating, and was considered the top in his division AFTER Froch beat him... Please, someone explain to me how this OVERRATES a fighter?!?!?! For me, this is a case of race/nationality being brought into the equation and it's really sad... If more of our 'favorite' fighters
