Who’s watching the Live Chris Rock Netflix special tonight???

Not a high bar. Hollywood selling entertainers as comedians. Only Damon was a comedian, the rest rode the coattails and had moderate success. I ain’t paying to see anybody’s nephew or cousin.
The lesbian chick Chante Wayans, I don't know who the fuck is her... if I remember correctly she is the daughter of one of the Wayans sisters who isn't famous. I've caught some Snippets of her shows and it's been funny

Y’all really hate Chris Rock LOL
It's not that, he's past his prime. He's lost his fastball.

I didn't even get all the way through that tambourine bullshit before I turned that off. I might watch this or at least start it on the replay, but I was busy when it came on and I actually forgot about it

Bigger and Blacker was hilarious, but in my mind he went downhill from there. That was his Paramount right there. That was his Peak

I don’t really think the Will Smith shit was “funny”, but it was 100 percent the truth. Found myself nodding and saying “yup”, more than laughing.

I did wish the 2 brothas would be able to eventually get together and make peace, but nah, Chris ain’t never letting that shit go and he he doesn’t have to either.

I will never understand how someone in Will Smiths shoes would allow his wife to fuck himself up mentally like this to have really fucked up his career and reputation.

I don't think that gonna happen because like I said then,if Will had an issue with the joke he could have pull Chris aside after the show and said it was disrespectful to his wife. Especially, when they've been friends for a long time.

You can't just walk on stage and slap someone you considered a friend and expect some type of reconciliation in the future.

I'm not saying the bridge is burnt but it sure won't get fixed anytime soon. Maybe, five or ten years from now.

You're right though,I don't think Chris gonna let that go anytime soon.

Marlon Wayans has literally nothing to do with it.
Why even compare it in any way whatsoever?

On the contrary brother. Not sure if you ended up watching Marlon's special but it went a lil something like this.

1. He was supposed to be the rib guy in I'm Gonna get you sucka.
2. Chris came to his show and heckled him, and he went without doing comedy for a while.
3. Chris took his GF

Thats why he said God loves him because in the end CR got slapped. Chris waited until the last 8 min to talk about the slap Marlon started his set talking about Chris.

Ne er scared was his peak

So was this special funny or not? I don't give a shit about the Will Smith situation. I don't need to be reminded that he's a celebrity. I just want the jokes to hit if I'm going spend time watching this.

When I saw Chris live last month he started with the Will Smith material first and had the audience captivated out the gate. With the Netflix special he held the viewers hostage for in the whole show before getting into what everybody wanted to hear.

I understand the mixed reviews.
That’s smart. It’s like the halftime show at the Super Bowl. They want you tuned in as long as possible.

That’s sad to watch. I won’t say I would have immediately whipped his ass because I’ve never had that much on the line. I will say, from the sofa, that the cracka really wanted to spit on a black man. You gotta get spit ready, right? :smh: To do it twice means you can’t waaaaaait to do that shit again. Second one was likely the even loogier. THAT deserved as off camera slap.
