AgreedI missed you cuzzo.
Just to be clear
Kareem is not only a goat he is a legend a great a true intellectual a Renaissance man and a proud black man who risked MUCH to be a voice for his people an advocate civil rights leader social justice advocate and an educator.
Still wasn't good on that after show and was rightly shook trying to spar with those comedic geniuses on that stage.
WB. I will have to watch it again later. I fell asleep on most of it. I was wide awake for the last part tho. His calling Jada a bitch didn't feel right and may have crossed a line. We'll see how well the public reacts over the next few days. I haven't been on twitter yet to see the responses.
You predicted it
Didn't laugh once until the end.
Before that, it seemed like I knew every punchline before he delivered it. That's how predictable he was IMO.
1/10
Those assholes are lucky that I don't mess with Twitter because I'd ask, "Did Chris talk bad about Black women or about a Black woman"?

Will Smith slapped him and demanded that he keep his wife's name out his mouth, so going forward Chris will only refer to her as "that bitch". Hilarious.
Hol on hol on hol...
@REDLINE
Is Chris on some ole bullsh*t????!!!
"Hey Chris," Pinkett Smith said, addressing 2016 show host Chris Rock, "I won't be at the Academy Awards, and I won't be watching. But I can't think of a better man to do the job at hand this year than you, my friend."
I can't find where Jada told him to NOT DO THE OSCARS.
unless it was private?
Something something something ain't right.

They all knew each other so I'm guessing she told him in private.
I didn't hear about that either though.
I did hear about this before thoughHol on hol on hol...

I'm gonna play Kareem and not say nothing
Other than I HEAR YOU.
That's the thing.
If it WAS private?
Chris you gotta say that part.
Cause immediately I thought that was off. I ain't NEVER heard her say all that.
We don't need no revisionist history this is all bad enough
Because let's just say... Chris is wrong he made an error.
He can't go full semi auto b*tch rant
And make a 'mistake" like that.
I hope she really did say all that about him hosting. Cause if not?
Woo boy.
I know it goes back to the "Oscars So White" nonsense and that boycott. IMHO, he can say and joke about WTF he wants because he was the one who got slapped while he was doing his job. They deserved and earned every "Bitch and Mother Fucker" he called them. Also, Fuck all of them Gen Z babies whining about the "words" he said. I'm worn out by these "Soft As Wet Charmin" assholes who consume benzos like Tic-Tacs cause they can't get through a regular ass day. We spend way too much time on that nonsense.
Now who's a pussy?
Yeah I said it.

I didn't see those as picking on black people. He's black. He's going to speak on black celebrities. If it was an all black audience no one would even think about it. The problem is he is speaking under the white gaze and we always filter black speech and black behavior though the lens of what will white people think. He basically called the Kardashians whorws for low level basic black men. Those comments about Robert Kardashian seemed a bit more vicious than what we expect from Chris and I don't expect those to age well.
Someone in here said the MJ joke was outdated, but it was contrasting with current news so it seemed appropriate to me.
I didn't care for the Meghan Markle slander, but there was some truth in what he said. The comedienne in the after show had the right take tho.
The way he called Jada a bitch seemed real personal and it had an edge to it. I felt that. It wasn't a generalized bitches comment and I think that is going to have some legs over the next few days. Also the pre-show comments from the other comedians struck me as it being personal for them against her, too.
I hear you
All I'm saying is I hope what he specifically said about Jada is accurate
Cause that is not going to go over well
Especially since it was completely unnecessary
I see where you coming from but at the end of the day, it's art. Like a movie that is based on real events but isn't a true retelling of what happened. Its a movie.
