hey stupidy, WHY WAS SHE BEING ARRESTED IN THE FIRST PLACE FOR A CURFEW VIOLATION???
show me a link or something stating the bag of clothes was the reason for arrest. why was she still holding the bag through most of this ordeal?"stupidy"?
She was stopped for a curfew violation, she was being arrested because of the bag of clothes.
"stupidy"![]()
sidenote: why is blunt still posting in here only to be ignored?
hey jackass, he had on gloves that were specially made for shit like that. he didn't feel a thing, if they didn't tell you she bet him you woudlve never even noticed it in the video. furthermore, the "bite" came after an already questionable apprehension, and being that she is a child, why would anyone expect her to behave like an adult in the face of an overaggressive cop? she was scared as fuck and it's clearly evident. you think she was screaming and crying for the fun of it? cops are taught how to deal with minors, and it's not the same as dealing with adult offenders. you clowns seem to welcome the prospect of a police state, why?she brought it on her fuckin self. she should have never bit the man. if someone would bite me, i would punch the fuck out they ass too..![]()
i don't care if you respond in kind to my insults or not, but you damn sure better come with some kind of rebuttal for MY POINTS. you have no ground on which to stand in your foolish defense of this pig's actions, FAGGOT.
Keep livin' when the shit happens to you or yours let's see how you feel then? Mr. Blunt
why do you believe police are beyong reproach? i posted a link MULTIPLE TIMES of the ordinance in that city for a curfew violation, which states that she was only subject to a citation. furthermore, the video does not show the event(s) that led to her being apprehended, so why are you assuming that she did anything wrong in the first place?
YOU ARE A FUCKING IDIOT, AND I HOPE THIS COMES TO A STREET NEAR YOU VERY SOON.
sidenote: why is blunt still posting in here only to be ignored?
ohhh, so she should've done as she was told even if he had no reason to arrest her? i rest my case ladies and gentlemen, i've been arguing with a real live mentally handicapped sheep. pardon meMan, you are too funny to even be mad at!
I have NEVER said this or any cop was "beyong reproach" The (trash)? bag of clothes with tags, and no receipt at (1:30am)? led to her arrest.
But let's give you the benefit of the doubt (you're so angry after all) and say he had no reason to arrest her. HER actions were still wrong, and she STILL should have done as she was told.
Oh yeah, WHY was she out so late again breaking the law?
Like most of the people before you, when you're looking through lenses colored with emotion, you typically have an argument not based on reason, and logic, which puts you at a disadvantage, because you can't see all the details clearly.
See, despite your inane ranting, I have yet to resort to calling you names, you incompetent fuck.
oops, did I say that out loud?![]()
If the cop had been black, this thread would have ended 4 pages ago.
show me a link or something stating the bag of clothes was the reason for arrest. why was she still holding the bag through most of this ordeal?
So considering the original offense was curfew violation by a MINOR, what would you say was the Cop's mindset????
1. Was it concern about the minor being out late
2. Was it that he felt the need to protect her from would be pedophiles
3. Was he concerned about her welfare and the state of her family, was his goal in understanding what circumstance lead to her being out?
4. Was his mind state not about concern but on making an arrest of a 15yr old girl?
4. Was the camera turned on because he expected based on his "prior experience dealing with people of color" that it would escalate to violence even though it was a 15yr old girl?
Please choose or provide an alternative.
I'm interested in learning your though pattern that led to your conclusion.

Now we're getting somewhere.
As to your points, they are not relavent. The cop saw what he assumed to be was a minor breaking curfew (1:30am?). Whether he was concerned for her well being is secondary at this point because she did not appear to be in danger, she was however breaking the law.
He stopped her to investigate, as he should have done, one thing led to another, and here we are.
You see, I'm not trying to get caught up in the details of what his mindset was when he stopped her, because he was doing his job. She was wrong and continued to make the situation worse.
And again, I don't agree with the punch, but I can't really fault him for it. He was patient up to this point, and tried not to hurt her.
One more time, this is not really the fault of the child, rather the parents/guardians are ultimately responsible, but it still does not absolve the child of any responsibility.
bullshit. abuse is abuse, period. if this had been a parent trying to subdue their own child, then these pigs would've been called to stop them. but for some reason that is ok with you idiots. If the cop had been black, this thread would have ended 4 pages ago.
Show me a link where it wasn't.
See how easy that is?
If the cop had been black, this thread would have ended 4 pages ago.
cop would be dead or getting death threats already.it's not the color of the cop so much as the color of the girl.
Black life isn't worth shit in America.
White people teach it, preach it...............
Black people give it life.............
The African American has now become the devaluer of his own self.
The cycle is complete.........
If this was a black cop and a 15yr old white girl, do you think white people would say she deserved it?

NewsFlash: Cops are allowed to cuff folks (without arresting them) and toss them in the backseat of the squad car while they sort shit out over the radio or wait for back-up. It's for everyone's protection.
Obviously this gal resisted because she had something to hide. What was he supposed to do, struggle with her until her arm broke, stick his knee into her spine, or just let her run away?
The quick punch was regretful, but it was not unprovoked or gratuitous. He could've been wailing away at her from the get-go (which would've been totally egregious). That's what some people here seem to be imagining in their feeble minds, rather than what actually transpired.
If it was a black cop and a white teen female there'd be a cascade of cheers, and no long dissertations on the LAW from the phony preachers.
Try to "keep it real" for a change.

You should be killed.
Oh, and black or white, its never okay.
ohhh, so she should've done as she was told even if he had no reason to arrest her? i rest my case ladies and gentlemen, i've been arguing with a real live mentally handicapped sheep. pardon me
*backs out of thread*
my mispelling of beyond was merely a slip of the finger, it's cute of you to cling to it as some indictment on my intellect.
FAGGOT
You say my point are not relevant but go on to half-discuss them???
This here is what you whole premise is based on.
"You see, I'm not trying to get caught up in the details of what his mindset was when he stopped her, because he was doing his job"
Considering what transpired, are you telling me that this procedure is written i a manual or lectured about in training courses???
Every job has job specs, are you telling me he was following those specs????
Your moms must be so proud.
Resisting a cop? Exactly.

now you're resorting to playing games. are you going to prove your statement about the bags containing stolen clothes or not? i've seen not one word about such a thing in any of the stories concerning this illegal arrest.
Okay, you have got to be kidding me. OF COURSE she should have done as she was told. Whether she believed the OFFICER had a reason to arrest her or not. (I highly doubt, at 15, she would know what would constitute grounds for arrest, but hey, who knows)
And are you really telling me that you would teach your children to disobey the police or any authority figure?
If it was a principle they believed to be right, hell yes...
Short of telling them to break the law? Would you? Really? If so, I feel for your children, because the could wind up similar situations.
Most of the gains of the civil rights movement were gained by the sacrifices of those who "broke the law", Rosa Parks, MLK, etc.....

So you do condone child abuse.
Ahhh, I see. You obviously also condone arrests without proper proceedure.
Like I said, YOU SHOULD BE KILLED.
You can't possibly be that dumb. The only one not following "procedure" was the girl resisting being handcuffed by someone who has the legal authority to require her to comply. Period. Whether it's for an arrest, detention, questioning, protection or anything else. (Apparently you're a big fan of teens needlessly acquiring criminal records. Typical self-destructive a-hole.)
So you do condone murder? Figures.

However, he was doing his job, by investigating what he assumed was a curfew violation. This was his job. The law put a curfew into effect, and he saw someone he assumed was breaking that law. As an officer of the law, he was doing what he was commissioned to do, by investigating this anamoly. This investigation led to everything else.
If she were not out after curfew, there would have been no violation.
If she had not resisted arrest, there would have been no punch, and subsequent uproar among black folk looking for a reason to be outraged at whitey (not like we don't have enough legit ones already).
Please explain what the cop should have done.
