"Renee" stayed in rotation in the car with friends back in the day ... everyone loved that song.
Man I was just up late night procrastinating on writing this brief on an old Trump case and was thinking about movies, and movie soundtracks as a timeline of my life and part of the Black experience.
These are movies most of us have seen or at least heard of.
If you're a certain age you know of Love Jones, He Got Game (or just about every Spike Lee movie), Love and Basketball.
It's part of our shared experience.
