How a SC woman won huge in Mega Millions, then scammed out of $80M by her lawyer. Very good read

When I saw that it was an open and shut case. They would have been better off doing it themselves no matter if they had fears, shit buy guns in open carry South Carolina.
So, are you saying to protect yourself with people that don't even know how to shoot nor having any training. Also, criminals are smart and savvy that they can get the drop on a person at the right time and your done. So, I can understand why a person would want to be anonymous winning the lottery for that amount. States need to make it legal for people to want to remain anonymous when winning huge money on the lottery.

If that lawyer is in jail for anything under 20 years he came up...

you know he will spend the rest of his life on some island chillin,

Id wait for him to be released then have a serious non verbal talk

with him....

its crazy how many folks dont know what to do, when they get plenty of

fluctuating rate notes we call "money"...

First thing she shouldve done is set up a corporation, etc....

then instead of giving money away to charities,

SHE SHOULDVE SET UP HER OWN CHARITY.....help people out,

and find some shelter for taxes...
He only got 13 years.

Either way, you are a target son. Like you said those criminals will get a drop on you. But the best solution is for all states to keep it anonymous for winners. Some states allow that and some do not which is fucked up.

Yeah, the lottey is and gift & curse because a person is in a lose-lose situation and it makes it worst the lawyers would risk their careers to scam somebody for that kind of money.

They let the fuckin lawyer put the money in his name... :smh:
Well, lawyers who deal with people’s money hold money for their clients in trust. But yeah, I would never let a lawyer hold my money in their name without an insurance policy that covers him stealing my money.

People you have to hire a very well-known lawyer to handle your business, or do some heavy research opening up a trust, and other money avenues. This billion dollar lottery that’s coming up today it’s going to get people in trouble if they choose the wrong people. I did my research years ago, so if I win, I could do majority of the work myself.

You really don’t need lawyers. Do what you any with your money but get a CPA and financial adviser to guide you on how to put the money in safe Investments with low risk. With that kind of money, you don’t need to invest in risky bullshit. lol for a 5 to 8 percent investment and be done

You will meet someone to claim the winnings on behalf of the executor of the trust (if your state allows that) and for that type of money, someone bound to keep client information private.......i.e. a lawyer

Now for $5 mill I might just claim it myself, but for $$$$ larger than that, yeah its gonna be Dwight Mann of law offices of Man, Mayo and Money .....claiming on behalf of the DD Pistol Club trust (whatever bullshit ass name)...
