What's the nicest thing you've done for a stranger?

when i was staffing a call center for at&t back in the day i hired several islanders that didn't have proper paperwork

also one day i was comin in early and saw this woman get off the bus with newspaper on her feet across from the office

i watch as she tries to get the nerve up to actually come in and apply

she makes it halfway across the street and starts crying

i meet her and ask whats up

left home with a dude abusive shit she got away but with nothing family won't take her back

i hire her on the spot and give her money to get shoes and clothes

every payday or if i just saw her she would always give me little gettin better updates

oh and the islanders i hired never did get they shit together

years later the call center got spun off from at&t and they had to reapply for their jobs

every single one got caught up

I was on the bus and for some reason I had no cash on me...

there was a confused elderly black woman on the there asking for directions, who realized she was on the WRONG bus

everyone kept talking to her confusing her more getting her upset.

So I got up and told her I'll take her to her doctor's appointment

which was not only completely out my way but would be walking like 12 blocks BACK to where I NEEDED to be to make an appointment.

As I got up the driver who was white was like are you sure are you serious?

I said of course...she said your unreal...

I told her she is my elder I owe her more then a bus ride out of my way...

people actually clapped on the bus.

I got her there safely she hugged me and started crying

But honestly I try to do stuff like that all the time

cause as a father a brother and son I always pray someone looks out for MINES when I'm not around.

For an absolute stranger?
Lots of random stuff but the one that I guess would stand out is paying for a family that was on the street to live in a motel for 2 weeks
Family had everything in their car and no money to speak of nowhere to go and he was asking for change to get his kids some dinner. The look in his eyes let me know it wasn't no scam. Dude was swallowing all of his pride just trying to feed his family.
I went over to them after he asked me. I asked about their situation. There was a motel not too far. Told them to follow me. I stopped at McDonalds and got some value meals and happy meals
then went to the motel and paid for the 2 weeks and gave them the keys
The wife thanked me the kids were too little to know what's going on. they go inside and eat. I'm getting ready to leave and dude just comes up to me gives me a handshake says he'll never forget it asks me for my number I give it to him. I say alright then good luck or whatever and he just starts sobbing. Crying really hard so I stay for a little bit like 5 minutes nothing crazy then he gets himself together and goes in to be with his family

I forgot about it honestly and then I get a call a year later and it's him. I'm like oh shit what's up man and he's telling me how those 2 weeks bought him the time he needed to get a gig and get on his feet and he wanted to invite me to his house warming party they finally had enough money to rent a house.

I went and he hugged me his wife hugged me the kids hugged me his "friends" hugged me. It was awkward as fuck for me but I was just glad dude was back on his feet and his kids had a roof over their heads.
Dude still doing good lol

yalll fools surpise me. yall go hard in the paint over every gottdamn thing and here in this thread i'm finding out, yall are soft was cotton at times. BGOL continues to surprise.

I met this hoodrat who was a cashier at a convience store. I admit I wanted to smash, but she was good people. I told her my job was looking for new talent . I took her an application (late 90's). She applied and got hired and still working with me. Both of us should be retiring next year.

I just try to do the right thing. I don't even remember what I did last. I just know that it makes you feel good to do something for someone just to do it... especially when someone doesn't expect it, and appreciates it.

Just trying to be positive in the face of all the bullshit in this world today.

this all day, and I usually try to be anonymous as possible ..... don't want it to get out that my heart ain't black .....

I once shared my hotel room in Cairo with a chick that was on standby to fly to Berlin. My flight was postponed due to mechanical issues with the plane. Her flight back was overbooked. She gave me the pussy as thank you.. she would have slept on those hard benches with them Arab dudes staring her down. Married too..

This is me 100%. I just try to do right by people.

wow.. thats beautiful... but did you smash?

I was in this jazz club and this Asian chick walked up to me and asked me if I wanted her to suck my dick while her boyfriend fucked her. Without a second thought I walked to the condo next door, rode with her up the elevator and stuck my sha-boing-boing in her mouth while she rode her boy friend. They were both strangers and it really made me feel good to help them out in their time of need. Blessed!!!

Many many things but off the top of my head...

Gave a jumpstart to a White family stranded in a metro parking lot...The father handed me some money but I said its cool then he begged me to take it so I said, well since the gas prices are rising, ok

Gave a granola bars and fruit I had in my backpack to a homeless man begging for food instead of money on a subway car

While waiting outside of my mechanics shop to enjoy some fresh air, gave 5 bucks to a couple random Black teenager females passing through, politely begging for whatever loose change I could spare. Just gave them the money, asked no questions.

Done a lot. I do mean a lot... These are the most memorable

1. Back in my college day, this old Irish homeless guy walked into a luxury residential building I did concierge work for to warm himself up. It was probably 5 degrees or less at the time, so I let him stay by the door as it was overnight and no one was around. He and I struck a convo and he told me about his glory days in the streets as a tough bare knuckles type who was respected, feared, and known. We had a few good laughs and talked about boxing and fighting. I ended up giving him a coat I was VERY fond of so that he may keep warm. I ended up going home with a old janitor's coat I found in storage later that mornring. Some homeless men have very interesting life stories...

2. I was once about to board the train in the downtown area and was randomly approached by this old Asian lady who needed help to get someplace. She did not speak a lick of english, but yet picked me to help out of all the folks who she could have selected. Must have been energy. She simply gave me a piece of paper and it was a court summons and I knew she was trying to get there. I boarded the train with her and took her there and basically did all the paperwork for her until it was time for her to enter the courtroom. They brought out the offender and it was her son. The judge and everybody there is looking at me like "what's the connection"? Even the son was like "Ma who the @#$% is this? He was being charged with a serious charge too. She cried and looked at me and was so thankful despite there being no understanding between whatever words were exchanged between us. Weird episode in my life...

:roflmao::lol::roflmao::lol:

I was cracking up reading this. Good share, fam

brought a lil girl a dora doll and accessories at a store on my bday..she really wanted it but her moms was denying her and said she couldn't buy it and lil girl started crying..i was like fuck it, it's my bday and told the lady what's the damage..she was like no sir you don't have to do it..i was like does she get good grades..her mom was like yes..i was like well my bday is everybody bday so my gift of living another yr will be me doing more good deeds put it on my tab..i brought it..lil girl face was like:eek::eek::eek::eek:..she never let go of the doll and box..funny watching her try to lug that shit down the street..the box was bigger than her

i gave somebody basically a few new hardly worn coats at the laundry yrrsss back.. to this day i seen that dude every now and again and he always gives me the biggest dap cause he remembers that

this summer i had a shitload of situations where i had to damn near be a hero.. a dude fell to the ground and was having chest pains..i lifted him up, gave him some aspirin, called 911, stayed with him the whole time till they got there, told them all his info, made sure he was good... i think a chick got roofied at a nightclub and literally was out cold i mean next level out cold..her friends were trying to wake her up no signs of moving, no reaction, body was juss straight dead, had to call 911 and i picked her up and put her on the stretcher, countless yanking people out the way of cars, buses, even the train(fucking idiots don't pay attention to traffic or their surroundings)...oh yeah a new dominoes opened up on 14st during the summer and was selling medium pies for 3 bucks for a day..so i brought 10 pies and randomly gave it to homeless people

i mean i've done a lot of random shit..pack up mad left over food from bbq's and give it to homeless, get random free shit like food, liqs, supplies, mags, etc and literally juss give it to random people..give out coupons to shit at clothing stores, electronic stores, products..hell i use to be big on that make mad copies of coupons and randomly go to stores and give it out to people all kinda 20 percent or more off, buy 1 get 1 free, buy 1 get another half off, etc..free passes to shit like movies, did it for a sporting event, did it for an convention..bunch of other stuff can't think of at the moment

:lol::roflmao::lol::roflmao:

This could've gone in a whole different direction. Glad it worked out.

Fam, you aint never lied with so many of these scamming opportunists

Funny story:
We were in this dollar store buying small picture frames. At the checkout, this lady in front of us dropped a 10 spot, so I called her back to give it to, and this young cat behind us muttered, "Shiiit, I'da kept that!" I laughed and said that it wasn't mine to keep, and the clerk says, "Don't worry, baby, God's gon' bless you for that!", and youngblood said, "How do you know God wasn't blessing with that 10 for some other shit he did? I know you done done some other nice shit. You look like one of dem niggas that be going around doing nice shit!"

Hilarious exchange

Ordered 20pc of Hot and Lemon Pepper Wings and fries from JR Crickets. As I was heading back to the office across the street homeless dude was digging thru the garbage for food. I just gave the 20pc and fries to him instead.
