What do you do when you pray and give 110%, but still see no results?

So from your reply, your habits cut down after leaving the hospital?

Yeah and it bothers me. During the past few years, I've been transitioning from christian to agnostic. After watchin' alotta videos, reading posts here and alotta self-analysis, I'm coming to the realization that Jesus may not have existed & there may be no God. It's scary to bring it to the forefront of my thinking to even type this. But at any rate, it bothers me that I pray only when my own abilities and wits fail me & my life's in dire straits.
I gave up earnestly praying when I saw there was no causal connection between praying and the end result. Now, I just pray when I eat out of habit. When good things happen to me, I give thanks but, I really don't know who I'm giving thanks to anymore.
Do you think regular conversations are not as related to the concept of prayer as you see it?

Really? Let me ask, why 30 mins? Time constraints?
I do what is called "Prayer without ceasing" which is a constant, even if by interval, communication with JESUS. Several times a day or hour depending on what's taking place I will consult with HIM or tell HIM what/how I feel.
mmm interesting! When someone asks you to pray, do you pray. Otherwise you dont. Am I alluding correctly?
you would be correct. I would agree to pray simply because I am a man of my word. Other than that I don't really see the point and no I'm not a atheist.
I'm in a conflict about religion, but I find myself praying in my thoughts pretty constantly.

I think this sums up what I was trying to say. Thanks
I pray Before I go to bed at Night, and I pray in the morning
It is crazy how taking advanced courses in the Humanities focuses on world religions. One particular focus is on the Western canon, in which I just finished a lengthy paper on (70 pages). The main subject focused on higher beings from different religions. I do not talk nor debate about such, but I do want to ask one question for the BGOL members:
If you want to supply your religious beliefs you can do so, but it is not required, for such confessions sometimes causes problems.
Here we go:
How many times a day do you pray? Do you find yourself constantly praying throughout the day? Are there certain times you pray, but never think about prayer until that particular time?
