What dream car did you nearly pull the trigger on?

Guy in my building had one. Never saw him to talk to him. It’s a beautiful beast, classy and fast, with space. I’ve heard nothing but nightmares about em and they depreciate by half after about 6 years. While getting my oil changed recently I walked over to another dealership to kill time and they had a naaaaaasty one, but it was so cheap I didn’t even inquire. I fucking love them, but if I can’t cop new I ain’t fucking with it. They are on car lots you should never see them. You’re like, someone traded a Bentley on a Kia? The schedule maintenance is costly and the parts are insane. Oil change can be $600-800.

Test drove one of these last year. It was slow as fuck. I couldn’t believe how whack it was. It was 26k. I slept on it and didn’t pull the trigger. Was considering an engine swap but it was nearly half the cost of the car, all said and done.

They end up in scrap yards in a few years anyways . I bought new back in 2021 now I’m like meh the car is a car. I’ll only buy used and cheap going forward. Unless you’re into impressing gold diggers and men nobody gives a fuck what you drive.

Recently, I was going to get a new Caddy CT5 when I paid off my car, but after about 6 months without a car note, I decided I was good here. Besides, my paid off Lacrosse is still under warranty.
