i feel what u sayin man ... i would love to join, but i no nothing about it and when i do ask a mason ... he beats around the bush like a mafucka .... all i know is that they got mad power and got tons a respect, who wouldnt want that .... but lik u said, there is more to it and i want to kno ...
 
i wanted to be one but all the masons i know are secretive and don't really give any info....i'm not talking about info about rituals i'm talking about general info
 
They probably don't even know what it means, that shit is probably to throw people off. If they wanted you to know it wouldn't be a secret.

Ok let me get this straight, you comparing your masonic "secrets" to my uncontrollable shit like DOB? Don't think that's an even exchange playa. Here too, I've wanted to be a Freemason since I was about 14 years old. My aunt married a Freemason about 3 years ago. I've sat with him and talked for a few, but when shit starts getting interesting, he tells me "I can't say any more, or you'll know too much. If you were one, we could talk about it..." type of stuff.

Case in point...

I found a gold ring one day in the gutter walking around in my neighborhood that had the Masonic symbol on it, I told him about it, and he said "Don't wear that ring out in public!!!" When I asked him why, he told me "just DON'T :hmm: "

He told me that if someone (another member)saw me with it on, and I wasn't supposed to have it on, that he had the right to take it from me. Right off my muhfuckin finger.

Now I wont take the low road and call you the ASSWIPE that you are but rather take this oppurtunity to teach for the 3..........5.........7.......... seconds it should take yo simple ass to get the point. Firstly this forum,......a casual conversation,.......... meeting someone on the street........., would never as you just proved yield them, that information from YOU!!!!! So why in the same situation would you ask a member of an organization for specifics, expect a truthful answer, then secretly have your panties bunched up when your question is not answered. Listen dum dum, dude just asked a question and got the same run around that Masons always give. I don't have any specific questions for you or any of them. My comment was about me noticing how they act when asked simple questions. Secondly, going up to someone and asking their name, DOB, SSN and PIN is way more damaging than asking how to become a mason or even what it's about. The majority of other groups and organizations are proud of what they do as well and welcome the interest of others who may possibly join them in their endeavors. The question he asked is not a simple question to answer as it alludes to specifics. Who gave him the run around? His question was not "What is Masonry about" or "how to join" so get that straight.

Who said that Masons are not proud of what they do and welcome others who PROVE themselves worthy. Dude you cant say that you have went up to any person in a frat asked them something about the frat and was given a suitable answer that made a difference in you joining or not.
