What do Masons mean by "riding the donkey?"

I have noticed that when Masons are asked questions about anything, they clam up like it's something top secret. What if I was considering becoming a Mason. No disrespect, but who would join the Army, Jehovah's Witnesses or any other religion, a frat or even a street gang without knowing "something" about them first? My boy that grew up with me became a Mason and the main change that I saw in him was conceit. He was the same deadbeat Dad to his daughter, couldn't keep a job, and ended up getting locked up. All the while he was on this "I'm a Mason" "untouchable" type stuff. I respect them as an international brotherhood just like many others, but there's got to be more to it than that. I know the Masons don't "need" our respect, but you're a man before a Mason which makes you no better than the next man. Let the clownin' begin please and try to keep it on a masonic maturity level.

i feel what u sayin man ... i would love to join, but i no nothing about it and when i do ask a mason ... he beats around the bush like a mafucka .... all i know is that they got mad power and got tons a respect, who wouldnt want that .... but lik u said, there is more to it and i want to kno ...

i wanted to be one but all the masons i know are secretive and don't really give any info....i'm not talking about info about rituals i'm talking about general info

They probably don't even know what it means, that shit is probably to throw people off. If they wanted you to know it wouldn't be a secret.

Why don't you just Google it?
You know Negroes (and others) get all spooky when you talk about Masonry, Jesus, or "Black Greeks"

:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

Pimpslap what's your real name, DOB, SSN, and your PIN to all of your bank accounts posted right here in this forum. That is info some people would die to get their hands on. Now aint no way on Gods green earth you are going to give up any of that info without knowing who is going to have it and what they are going to do with it. Now on the off chance that you find someone that was worthy of this info believe me you are going to teach them how to use it so it doesnt cause you any discomfort and you are going to be very discriminate with who you share this info with. Keep that in mind when "Masons are asked questions about anything."

Ok let me get this straight, you comparing your masonic "secrets" to my uncontrollable shit like DOB? Don't think that's an even exchange playa. If you get my SSN and PIN, you can pay both of our mortgages today from my bank account(at least for this month). If you tell me what "riding the donkey" means, can I cash that in today? What can I pay with that right now? You can choose to be or not to be a Mason. I can't choose my DOB. I can't even choose my SSN, they give you what they want you to have. Now go to your room, you're fuckin grounded:angry:

An instrument made use of by operative Masons to spread the cement which unites the building into one common mass; but we, as Free and Accepted Masons are taught to use it for the more noble and glorious purpose of spreading the cement of brotherly love and affection; that cement which unites us into one sacred band, or society of friends and brothers, among whom no contention should ever exist, but that noble contention, or rather emulation, of who best can work and best agree
AN yes I was raised on a Square:lol:

Here too, I've wanted to be a Freemason since I was about 14 years old. My aunt married a Freemason about 3 years ago. I've sat with him and talked for a few, but when shit starts getting interesting, he tells me "I can't say any more, or you'll know too much. If you were one, we could talk about it..." type of stuff.

Case in point...

I found a gold ring one day in the gutter walking around in my neighborhood that had the Masonic symbol on it, I told him about it, and he said "Don't wear that ring out in public!!!" When I asked him why, he told me "just DON'T :hmm: "

He told me that if someone (another member)saw me with it on, and I wasn't supposed to have it on, that he had the right to take it from me. Right off my muhfuckin finger.

Now, I asked him "why is that?"

Guess what his answer was...

"If you were a Mason, you'd know why."

I just looked at him like :hmm:

freemasonry is not for black people... freemasonry is for anglos. there is/was a system created for you, the black man, but it was stolen a while ago...and you have yet to reclaim it.

y.OUR masonic brethren killed y.OUR biological brothers, they burned y.OUR houses, they raped y.OUR women and children, enslaved and indignified you... and made you swear to keep "their" secrets.

i wish our people kept secrets like that, then we would've been free sooner. we would have kept our fighting, and our knowledge, and our music...and not given the secrets of our divinity away...

masons are smart, they know when to shut up... and they know how to make their oppressed shut up too. then easily, one can bear the burden of knowing without having oral diarrhea. we should learn.

that is all... :hmm:

I guess lucifer setting Adam free from slavery/bondage in the garden is huge secret right? Fire can cook your food, warm and light your house, or burn that maphucka down ... you can choose to travel light but be sure of the "Light" they're speaking of !

Peace!

i too was once on the outside looking with questions, but without the ability to "humble yourself" you will never be able to "walk upright" and seek the answers you all ask the answers to.

Now I wont take the low road and call you the ASSWIPE that you are but rather take this oppurtunity to teach for the 3..........5.........7.......... seconds it should take yo simple ass to get the point. Firstly this forum,......a casual conversation,.......... meeting someone on the street........., would never as you just proved yield them, that information from YOU!!!!! So why in the same situation would you ask a member of an organization for specifics, expect a truthful answer, then secretly have your panties bunched up when your question is not answered. Get some heart about yourself. If BECOMING A MASON is something you want to do dont beat around the bush, walk up to someone who has impressed you by their works tell them your desires without taking no or being bullshitted around. Dont try to research it on the WEB to find the "secrets" you will be mislead. Dont ask somebody who knows somebody who told you this or that. MAN UP and get the Kool-aid out your heart and A...S.....K........ for what you want.

So get this straight........you proved my point for me. Any pertinent info about masonry or your personal info in the wrong hands (those who havent earned the right to it) proves to be damaging to the other.

Can't temper my actions................ASSWIPE!!!!!!

Listen dum dum, dude just asked a question and got the same run around that Masons always give. I don't have any specific questions for you or any of them. My comment was about me noticing how they act when asked simple questions. Secondly, going up to someone and asking their name, DOB, SSN and PIN is way more damaging than asking how to become a mason or even what it's about. The majority of other groups and organizations are proud of what they do as well and welcome the interest of others who may possibly join them in their endeavors. Knowing my personal info gives you an advantage over me to use at your discretion. You can't compare this to knowing about or joining an organization. You think if we find out, we going on a worldwide mission to shut them down? Negro please.

Now get this straight SHIT-STAIN, any pertinent info in the wrong hands is possibly damaging in 1 way or another, but just because we're not masons doesn't mean our hands are wrong. To be honest, I haven't met a mason that has impressed me by his works. I have met some non-masons that have done some amazing shit.

Now quit playing "Secret Squirrel" and get back in yo dam room!!...and turn that computer off, you still grounded!!!

ASSHOLE I cant say it any more plainly you must be stuck on stupid as you keep going back to an illustration just an illustration to show you how inappropriate it is to ask certain questions and when you do you prove my point once again.

The question he asked is not a simple question to answer as it alludes to specifics. Who gave him the run around? His question was not "What is Masonry about" or "how to join" so get that straight.

Your comments about how "Masons" clam up when asked certain questions was being likened to you just walking up to someone and asking them pertinent info about themselves.

Once again if you havent earned the right to that info you have no right to critizize the person when it is not given to you.

"The majority of other groups and organizations are proud of what they do as well and welcome the interest of others who may possibly join them in their endeavors."
Who said that Masons are not proud of what they do and welcome others who PROVE themselves worthy. Dude you cant say that you have went up to any person in a frat asked them something about the frat and was given a suitable answer that made a difference in you joining or not. If their answer prompted you not to join then you need to look no futher than the mirror to find the person who is holding you back. And dont worry if all we (members of a fraternity) have to do to keep heartless, wimps like you out of our beloved frats is discourage you with words then the lineage and the strength of all frats is preserved forever never to be shut down!!!

It is my sincere hope that if you ever muster enough HEART to join an orginization that you show them the comments you have made in this forum in this thread as it truly shows your ignorance.

You may have not met them but you do know a line of Brothers who were/are Masons that have impressed you with their works.

Pimpslap for your actions I banish you to a world of darkness!
