A mouth-watering Southern favorite is back for a limited time at Wendy’s locations in the Carolinas.

By popular demand, Wendy’s is returning its beloved Carolina Classic Burger to all restaurant menus across North and South Carolina. Previously sold only in the chain’s Charlotte-area restaurants, this flavor-filled burger is now expanding to the rest of the state and throughout South Carolina for all to enjoy.

The Carolina Classic burger features zesty chili, diced onions, mustard, and tangy coleslaw topped on a Wendy’s quarter-pound beef patty. Swoon.

"The Carolinas are known for bold and flavorful food, which has always been the inspiration for our Carolina Classic burger," Kathy Alvis, Carolina Restaurant Group's Director of Marketing, said in a news release. "It's been a crowd favorite for years, so we're excited to bring this flavor combo to more Wendy's fans throughout the rest of the region this fall."

Fuck what you heard...I like chili burgers with slaw too! Maybe it is a regional thing as I am from N.C.... But on another note, I've never seen this shit come from Wendy's. typically you get them from a straight up roadside BBQ joint, diner, etc... Snoopy's or Char-grill

Or Cookout. They put it on hot dogs in NC also.

In the Carolinas... Eating a hotdog "all the way" means this.

The restaurant Bojangles has a spicy chicken filet biscuit sandwich with an option of pimento cheese spread.
