It's been a popular mixture amongts night clubbers in the UK for some years. It gives a quick high feeling because of the mixture of alcohol & caffiene but obviously if taken in high quantities can cause problems.
When I drank I'd have one of these to keep the party going and drink more. I don't think it's dangerous, but I wouldn't spend all night slamming them either.
This mix has been going on for as long as Red Bull has been on the market. Not exactly the healthiest of concoctions, figuring caffeine is a stimulant and alcohol is a depressant, but no one is really complaining.

The mixture of alcohol and stimulants like red bull is a recipe for disaster. Alcohol has the effect of putting a person to sleep if they drink too much. Simply put they pass out. Add in the stimulant and you got an even greater potential for someone who by rights should be passed out to continue in the fuckery and possibly hurt themselves or someone. You can get to the point of "black out" drunk more often when on stimulants and alcohol and that in itself is the issue.
Thankfully ZOA does not use Taurine, but a lot of energy drinks do, especially the "it kid" of the moment, Celsius
