I don't see this as a concern. Local law enforcement can fill that void with the millions of overtime dollars they allow cops to steal every year.
A little bit of both. The voter voted for the 'classic' white man because in their mind he looks the part.
Truth is though Trump is not up to the job based upon 2025's reality. His decisions will make most fail.
If the Democrats fail to regain control of the House during the midterms, we are in serious trouble. If we can reclaim the House, we can initiate inquiries into all this nonsense and halt much of Trump's agenda.
It's up to the voters.

But we need a better message than "Trump is bad". Also we need to stop being distracted by shit. We've spent the last week or two talking about this Jake Tapper book about Joe Biden that not a single person besides us gives a solitary fuck about.
Express to people that things can be better and this is what a country with Dems in power will look like.
It is a labor issue. White labor will never work with black labor, and if there is a remote possibility it may/might happen they'll get rid of all of us and import a fresh crop of labor without the baggage of memory.
If folks aren't talking about Biden, it's about Puff. It isn't about them; it's about the Knicks. Most laborers don't care about the issues that affect them, and when a new technology comes and lessens their pay, they'll run to Washington in the cold and the president is going to laugh at them. That same callous president is the same president that signed in the CRA of 64 and the VRA of 65. He's the guy that birthed Biden’s whole steez when he stabbed Humphrey in the back. But don't fret, Humphrey shitted on Ms. Fannie Lou Hamer anyway.

Ok, this is the stupidest thing Trump has done or attempted to do in any of his terms. Stupider than the tariffs thing. This will never pass.
Its an opportunity to pass a tax cut and have the attention not be placed on the important issue. Its a coordinated dance between the press and the administration.
Not just the tax cut but the rider in the bill that makes it really difficult for the courts to check the executive branch.
