tonight should be some good matchups
barnett vs rothwell
Rumble vs bader
I don't expect these fights to go to the distance

I think DC exposed the blueprint to beat Rumble: wrestling/GnP. Don't trade shots with him, just grind him down and gas him out. The crazy part is Rumble actually is a good wrestler, but doesn't use it consistently. He's in love with landing that one big shot, barely even jabs. If he comes in tonight setting up his shots, defending the TD, and pressuring Bader, it's a wrap for Bader. Otherwise, I see this fight looking like Bader/Evans.

The way they're spoon-feeding this kid is a shame, borderline sham. He's gotten some sketchy calls and handpicked opponents... but this dude is giving him the business tonight. Even though he's looking doughy soft and huffing wind already in the second round. A full camp, I don't doubt the beard dude might whoop his ass. Sage looks like trash.

Bottom line: the kid wasn't ready, period. He panic tapped. That choke wasn't going to finish him, but he was finished. I think getting beat up and cut on the floor shook him. The choke just gave him an excuse to throw in the towel. He has NO killer instinct.

tru words

Ol dude got taken to the short end of the pool and drowned.
He gonna have to learn on how to be mentally tough
and weather the storm, when there is adversity & pressure
applied to him in the octagon.

He still young in his mma career; so he can make some
grappling and takedown defense adjustments.

In his own way, he pulled a Rousey (on a much smaller scale, of course). Rousey got hit--HARD AS FUCK--and it busted up her face. She mentally checked out on the spot. Once dude drew blood from Sage and smothered him on the floor--where his flashy, rangy moves were nullified--he mentally tapped out. I'll give Cono McGregor one thing: of all the UFC fighters on the hype train, he seems to be the most mentally tough. Probably because unlike the others, he's tasted defeat before.

Rivera got that Im a bulldog with heavy hands look.

Alcantara too passive with his strikes
he needs to get busy with leg strikes

He is on herky jerky looking dude, especially at that size. He better not fall for that southpaw shit. Josh can stun him with a jab.

Barnett may not be the Baby-Face Assassin anymore
but he proving that he is the WarMaster

Rothwell face getting beat up
But Rothwell got those big ass fist
the size cement blocks doing damage as well.
