I believe automated cars will ultimately be safer than human driven ones (hacking may be a big issue though)...I think the camera is going to show that the victim made one of those silly absent minded mistakes that people make from time to time...that being said, that driver...yeah, that driver....that's a open-your-checkbook-because-you-losing-this-case kinda picture...what the hell am I looking at?

If you made a movie about this, folks would call bullshit. A fucking he/she with a record(has nothing to do with the accident though) hits a a homeless person with a DRUG history(now that could factor in) who is dozens of yards away from the fucking crosswalk.

Now toxicology report is going to be huge since video evidence supposedly shows the computer or the person tasked with stopping it wasn't at fault. Still, some ambulance chasing piece of shit might try to get some money.
