I still don't have any clear picks out of the group. I'm still following Bruce Leroy and Michael Johnson though.

My brother is keeping an eye out for Michael Johnson and Jonathan Brookins.

Not sure how far Cody McKenzie will go though as he seems to be a one-trick pony with excellent chokeholds. Cardio/stamina/strength/striking? Who fuckin' knows, lol?

Is it just me or is Koscheck the biggest dick in the world.

He's been playing the heel well since TUF 1 from 2005 (and when they filmed it in late-2004 or so). Funny thing too in that the rest of his camp is pretty chill (Fitch/Cormier/Velasquez/Le/Thomson, etc.).

On a funny side note - here's Thomson (Strikeforce) on Blind Date years back with an AGOL spinpiece

I'll be happy as long as Bruce Leeroy, Michael, Cody, Nam, or the dude with blond curly hair (forgot his name, but he might be the best well-rounded fighter this season) win it.

Koscheck keeps taking L's. He's a pretty good fighter, but he's not on GSP's level. I wonder if, deep down, he honestly believes he can bring anything to the table that GSP doesn't already have 100 ways to counter. Their first encounter should've proved that. Koscheck is one brotha I just can't support. His insta-feud with the paramedic solidifies that point.

VERY interesting season. On average there are one, maybe 2, fighters that I actually want to see win the whole thing for each season of Ultimate Fighter. This year there are five. One of the best seasons of the Ultimate Fighter in my opinion.

Dude with the curly hair Jonathan Brookins. He's my pick to win it all. He's stayed pretty under the radar. No beef with any one and his win over a supposedly superior opponent was a sight to see.

I'm still pissed that Marc Stevens got the wild card after getting choked out in 16 seconds into the 1st round, only to be choked out again with the same damn hold. I was  when his cocky ass got caught in another guillotine.

Yeah Jonathan is a contender. That's fucked what happened to Stevens.:lol::lol:

Picks for this week, I got Cody and Jonathan. Even though Cody is a one trick pony he does that trick well and is unpredictable, Jon is just showing he has the skills to take it all.

Got my pvr lined up, bro.

5:17pm PST here ...

Spike airs it from 7 - 8pm, then 8 - 9pm.

Followed by Rogers Sportsnet which airs it at 12 or 1am (and always does a good job with TUF, Fight Night, and TUF Finale programming and repeats).

I want to see more of Cody's game. Nam Phan has the most experience in the house (out of any fighter).

Jonathan Brookins is the real deal. My bro' has him pegged to win the whole season. He fought in the WEC years ago and took it to the 3rd round with Jose Aldo in 2008.

Awww damn I didn't know all that, got another pro smuggled in the ranks like Big Country. Just read he is being sued by Bellator for breaking a contract, damn this cat something serious.

Yeah - from what I can gather ... Bellator is doing their best to cash in on his name (considering all the attention cats from the TUF houses get in/around the start of their careers).

One of the very best parts of attending a show live ... the montage/compilation that comes on RIGHT BEFORE the main card commences. So fucking dope. People stop what they're doing and watch. My brother went to run down to the washroom, and then stopped in his tracks and came back and watched with all the rest of us!

:lol::yes:

Props to Jonathan. I never had any doubt he'd win that, and is one of my favorites going in.

That 2nd match up was really interesting. I liked what Nam & Cody brought to the competition. That match was pretty exposing for both fighters. Cody in the sense it showed that he really is a one trick pony, and for Nam as it really showed how well-rounded he is. Dude just DOES NOT GAS, and has powerful hands (good jiu-jitsu too).

Yep. Nam's skills really shined in this fight. Jonathan is definitely the top dog now. I'm still keeping my eye on Michael Johnson too, we'll see how he performs in this fight against Bruce Leroy.

Yea I wonder is Bruce Leroy gonna upset Michael Johnson? I still think Mike is the favorite to win. That's the match i'm waiting for. They were talking about Bruce Leroy being the worst fighter that made it to the next round? Maybe but dude has some speed on him and Michael can't come out like he did last fight.

And Koscheck is such a dick head. I can't stand that dude. I'd pay to watch GSP or anyone beat his ass.

Bruce Leroy vs Michael Johnson is a fight I was looking forward to just as much as Nam vs Cody. My gut is telling me that Leroy is going to pull off an upset win over Mike. This has been a really great season!

The final WILL be Jonathan vs...someone.

Yea I think Michael can beat him and probably will but I just have a strong feeling by the way they're editing that Leroy upsets Mike. Leroy was quite impressive his first fight. I don't know why so many dismiss him.

:eek::eek::eek:NAM PHAM FOLDED THAT TALL WHITE BOY LIKE A ENVELOPE!!!!! A RIB PUNCH?!?!?!?!

That was a crazy bodyblow. MMA fighters have horrible cardio so I figured Nam would beat him because he's the only one who trains for endurance like a boxer (namely running).
I'd keep Nam and Brookins away from each other until the finals. I'd rank them as the two best guys left.
