XXXKJ....
Sup w/ the tickers you dropped are we talking TSX or something, none of those tickers registered any companies, interested in Coal, let me know....i suspect they are on foreign exchanges...

You can trade them on TSX if your broker allows you or you can do it through OTC, Pink Sheets.

Offwork found some of them already on .pk

Pardon me for being hasty:rolleyes: Of course tickers must be different. Scott didnt make it easy but I found a few. WGF is WEGOF & GXS is GXSFF. Let the research begin. Are you buying into any of your maple leafed buddy picks?

Consiggy...careful on ripping COIN apart, that report was actually great, this was a development stage company who jus managed to make 250k in a Q, w/o thier business being fully ONLINE, it was a GOOD sign (something that suprised me) they are NOW revenue generating & with the Woodbridge plant soon to come online it should make for an interesting few months, realize the O/S on COIN is 5.44M w/ a 3.91M float, once fully operational this company could net over $3 in EPS..so while you see a LOSS..there is a bigger story behind it..a $2.4M loss is not that big...COIN i think has a shot to be a big winner,..but, yes you are right it is speculative & it was always tagged by me as such when reccomending it...then again,,,which stock isnt? lol

I'll feel more confident once they open the plant. I've been burned badly with COIN, so naturally I'm very cautious with it.

I'm watching SINO closely. It's volume has steadily increased in the pre-market.

Can you recommend a good options trading book? Thanks

Also if you add a .V at the end of those on Yahoo! you can view them for example WGF.V. It may lead you to Yahoo finance canada. Im watching these on my stock streamer and it says no volume no nothing but on the Canadian exchange its moving volume and bids & ask.

Ok so I can not buy Canadian stocks online with Scottrade. I have to call in to a broker and its $27. Nice to know....

JMBA - Jamba Juice... Thing is flying. Crazy cause I looked up the ticker on Sat, cause Jamba is on every corner here in L.A., saw the stock was cheap, and today its up 20% cause of a big deal it just signed with Nestle.

Jamba launches ready-to-drink beverage line of Jamba Smoothies and Jamba Juicies with Nestle

Thanks I heard about this on CNBC but they didnt give much info. Not expensive at all. Never had a Jamba I beleive I saw one once in Time Square I think. Drank(not drink) is booming business. Makes me think of Love2FBlackbooty's pick SKNY (skinny water). Another spot is Pinkberrys that seems to be a hit. Starbucks is empty but those Pinkberry be packed. They could go publoc or get acquired.

Starbucks bought Pinkberry. PB started out here in L.A. and was everywhere, then SB bought it. I thought Jamba was national (its HUGE here in L.A.) but when I went out to NYC, I think I saw one or two of them.

Jamba has grown slowly in Chicago. It's stores do well, but only for about 5 months out of the year (when it's warm).

Peace people. I still have a portion of TITN. Doing well with that since getting in at 17and change. CAGC is up. AGU down. CNOA down -.18 since I got in thinking of getting more since its near 52week low...and PAL...long PAL!

V - nice run past two days
AGs nice runs too. MOS +7%, AGU +5%, POT only +3.88%:smh::smh:

I see positive gains. Even if only 4% for the day better than a negative. And those AGs you mention are up atleast 30% since the beginning of the year when dropped on this thread. Nothing to shake ya head at. Although I did buy AGU @$87....its all good.

Ivanhoe Energy Tgt Raised To $5 From $3.25 By Tristone >IVAN

Stock currently trading @ $2.77 I bought 30 shares in an account I had some cash lying around in. If I had more I would buy more. I have been watching the stock for a while and kept on hoping for a pull back but it hasn't been happening so I am just going to get in.

There seem to be a rotation out of oil and commodities so some caution is being observed. Since it's small amount of money it doesn't matter much for me.

MOSCOW, May 28 (Reuters) - Russian metals tycoons Vladimir Potanin and Alisher Usmanov agreed on Wednesday on to swap assets and invited the owner of aluminum giant RUSAL to join them to create the world's mining and metals leader.

Not sure how to read it because Aluminium is a metal that gets killed by high oil price also. I guess being the dominant player could give them pricing control. Since chemical companies are also raising price then that's also good for them. Had they been a steel company then I would want to analyze more

I'm looking for V to hit 100 by the end of the summer. I may take some off the top at that point.

USO has had a nice run lately. I'm in that one for the long haul.

FSLR is as volatile as a summammabitch, I'm glad I haven't been in it lately. Took a break from BIDU also. If it goes below $315 I may get back in.

Glad to see money being made. Ima look at that IVAN this weekend. I got in some COINZ @3.40. And am watching for TITN re-entry. If Titan every sees the 17's again Im going all in....ok maybe half in. But 16 im going all in! Damn FSLR was $65 a year ago. I Hope i can look back and say remember when PAL was $5 that bitch 50 now:dance::lol:

When sometimes you look back & see those stocks on incredible runs it's sometimes disheartening to think "damn, why not my stock"...For stocks to appreciate 1x,2x,3x in short periods of time something have to cause the dramtic moves, an underlying catalyst. PAL has several that may cause it to retouch the 10+ area, alot is ofcourse pinned on PD prices, which have now become as volatile as ALL commodites (most are volatile & to the upside, which tells me that their runs are not near over)

the ultimate victory in the market is a "10 bagger" a 1000% return, those that achieve it on stock I must give credit to, on options it's a lot more feasible....

Someone mentioned sector rotation out of oil/commodities - wery well could be true, the OILs have began to form holding patterns in price ranges, but alot of that I think has to do with oil backtracking a bit to under 130. The AGs have been cycled out, there was that period when they were running like mad, the POT earnings (great as they were) was the line drawn & then AGs got hammered & have since been themselves in a holding pattern, POT is a great TRADE now as the swings are rather good, from the up to down days...some other ones to pay attention to are FLR/FLS FLR has a split coming in a month..

AAPL has some upside this month due to just "buzz" on the 3G iPhone, should be a good call play.
good luck to all

Lets hope the market is going to climb back up. I took a SERIOUS beating in the last two weeks, losing 30% of my portfolio. Mostly on Sino (FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK SINO)

The story of my life. But my complaining is to a minimum. And I have my eye on COIN...and taken note of FLR/FLS.

I have LULU June 30 PUT. Was playing it to get out before earnings. Unfortunately I forgot to change the order when my target wasn't hit to sell at market before close.

LULU report and the numbers were ok but they guided below expectation. Not sure how the market going to react. It's been pretty good IMO. There are people betting on a short squeeze because there is a 78% short interest and huge amount of PUTs sold today. They believe the sellers of the PUTS are not going to let them expire so deep in the money without trying to bring it back.

IVAN closed at 2.91. I haven't added but if I had the capital I would have gotten in way bigger to where I would have been able to make big profit on .10 move.

I still have the SEPT IVN $5 Call. It's down a bit but I am still going to hold it because the stock has not been that low in a long time major supports are at 8, 6, and 4. Those were years ago though.

Peace kjxxxx thanks for the drops. Im interested in checking out those forex seminar links. I bought Currency Trading for Dummies a few months ago...on about Ch. 3. I need to start over from the beginning though. Cool article in the new June issue of Maxim about some guy who made a killing in the currency market.

Im thinking of grabbing more Coinz or Coin.Though moving on low volume. Could be monstrous gains!

offwork...
looks like the entire AG sector may be getting "warm" but,,i'd approach w/ a bit of caution, if POT can approach to its 52 week high & strongly take it out, then the AGs should show a sign of being back in play..though they have been weak,,,the long term prospects are still increbible when you think of where POT/MOS/MON etc will be in a years time,,

A guy asked me today, "Hows the market?" I said good. He said,"What the hell are you talking about:angry:!! The Dow & the Nas are both down!! I said:lol:
POT is $4 off that 52 week high and I hope you are correct in that it will catapult this sector to newer highs.
Even with all the fluff on the boobtube today about the dollar rebounding, interest rates going back up,housing expected to report great #'s, & even the "how to play Toll Bros. story'". Its all bs to my ears. people in China, India,Brazil who could only eat one meal a day now eating 2 or three and they want cake with it! But I'm cool...I'm cool.

off....
the overall market is not looking good, what seems to be occuring is heavy cycling of intstitutional money (cuz lets face it they run these markets, retail is a speck in comparison) but you see sectors moving day by day, we've seen AGs move up, Coal stocks have had a great run up (some as much as 200-400% in a year) Energy will do well as there is no way institutional money will abandon that sector, the sectors that are looking weak at times tend to be financials. Lehman Bros look like the speculation earlier in the year about it folding soon after Bear Stearns is having a delayed effect,if you recall they rebuffed the claims & the stock had a HUGE rally...but the life line is being cut in the sector & they'll be weeding out some banks..

I will say,,i do not trust this market nor the US economy at this point, I will say while equities are the best places to be in you have to choose wisely as the US economy seems to be hitting too many speed bumps on the road without crashing, one has to think the crash is coming...the Dow has given back a huge chunk & i think more giveback will come,,,I'd stick with AGs/Metals/Energy (you basic commodities-as somehow i can't see that being the bubble some say it is), i tell you though when consumers begin heavy defaults on credit cards then you will see the true crash of the US credit sytem,, a system built on debt may one day see it's death.

I think we shoud take a closer look at APWR. Don't jump in now though because it touched an alltime high yesterday and it's due for a pullback.

Popo....
Ok I see what you mean.I am optimistic about where my money is. And that is Ag & metals. Props to you for shedding light on the subject. Sadly I dont have the energy plays though. Coal has been brought up alot lately as you mentioned. There is a coal energy plant in Jersey City going through a Billion$ upgrade. I do think that the credit crisis is the bastard child of the houseing fiasco. These forfiets you mention are hardly talked about. Last year American Express said they had more deliquent payments in thier 3rd quater than ever before. That pay in full policy is now an option. And thats the G.O.D. of cards. Im stepping lightly though. Not taking out a loan against the home to buy TITN shares.
