I was expected Black Asia but I'll take this. A Wu Tang Clan martial arts film is long overdue.
I am going to support the movie. But the trailer didn't touch on rza's character at all. And I am confused about the plot of the film. They need to make those things clear soon.
Star power is the key!
Russell Crowe has more star power then he do.9 times out of 10;he will be playing back up!
This movie couldn't do 4 million on rza name alone!
If they are using the music like whats in the trailer.This shit might fail big time!
But what is the film about? Every supporting character had more scene time the the title character. I was disappointed by the trailer. I was expect more black characters too. Is it wrong to want more?

Nah. It looks like a cross between the fight scenes in kill bill and the campy aspects of big trouble in little china. At least to me. Bastia looks like he got super natural power like the guys in the John Carpenter film. I was hoping for something like an live action black samurai.

Feel & see what you're saying as I hoped for the same but after the success of flicks like KungFuHustle, that Ninja shit & the like of all them recent cgi bloody epic type flicks, this is what they're riding with for that mainstream appeal.
The closest we got to a Black Samauri flick was the cartoon.
I remember watching some behind the scenes of the joint he did with ShiYangMing
