They ain't locking up white folks on first offenses like that. The other white boy was in there for drug possession for 6 years(he was 25). Another was in prison for fucking theft. That's like county time.
Another cat was on the show(when it was in Ohio) who killed someone over drug money and all he got was nine years. Cats are walking around in Ohio with drug possession cases pending catching other drug possession cases and still not seeing prison.

on another note, i am surprised (maybe i should not be) that national geographic put together this propaganda piece.
sanitizing his charges, describing an "assault on a stranger" instead of truthfully stating that he attempted to rape a minor at knife point.
suggesting that he was being targeted by other inmates because he was a "social outcast" and not because he tried to rape a minor.

Ok, I could be wrong ... but he looks and acts very Autistic
for instance, look @ 3:27 when he didn't get the social cue, he didn't make proper eye contact, and he didn't respond properly to the teasing
