i am surprised (maybe i should not be) that national geographic put together this propaganda piece.

the title for the vid and thread are misleading. for whatever reason it does seem like they want the viewers to feel sorry for him.
i disagree that he seems mentally ill. when the cellmate hit him he didnt really want to snitch but he knew or thought he had to explain the marks they found. next when the other inmates were teasing him at lunch he was scared or just didnt know how to react. i do think the inmates knew his crime.im wondering if it was in the folder he let his cellmate see or just from normal talk that they knew his crime.
ive known street guys my entire life but im not about that life and haven't even been to jail. if i were taken to prison right now i couldn't say id be much better than dude initially and im sure the same is true for a lot of you. people get nervous on normal events and some of you are trying to diagnose him as if prison was church or a date. in any case i wish him the worse for what he claimed he wanted to do.

So why was the other cat in a fight within 2 minutes of touching down in the chow hall?
They were testing each and every one of those cats. He was targeted for being soft. The other white boy(in for theft) fought back as soon as he was tested. Win, lose, or draw, that's how you're supposed to get down. I do agree they didn't reveal enough about the charge. That's why I looked it up.
