the precedent will have been set thru this case: i can follow you, consider you a suspect (even tho no crimes are being reported), i can confront you, get in a fight with you, win or lose the fight, STILL pull a weapon and KILL you dead.

i hope this jury fully understands what they're about to do by acquitting this man; i really hope black people in florida have ammo or u-hauls ready if he's acquitted.

This ain't new or specific to any particular place.
Rodney king case is not as reaching as this case. Police brutality is nothing new. We are talking about the murder of an innocent man, treated as a suspect, though he had done nothing suspicious. The defendant went clearly out of his way to confront the victim.

as I've stated, by acquitting him, it essentially says you can follow, wrongly suspect, confront, engage & kill another person in "self-defense." if so, expect a lot of blk men to be wrongly suspected, confronted by armed people & killed in Florida.
the defense will cite zimmerman vs martin as the precedent in court & that's that.
self defense to me is defined as a person with their "back against the wall with no recourse," not an aggressor.

Although I know the pundits are saying that the burden for murder 2 was not met for murder 2.
I think with GZ discrediting himself through the lies he told, the recording that CLEARLY indicate ill will, AND the prosecution illustrating the incredulity or impossibility of how GZ claims he acquired and ultimately fired his weapon.
Also, GZ has grass and soil stains on his knees and toes of his boots, which is consistent with him being on top, plus Jeantel's testimony.
On rebuttal, all they have to do to the jury is invoke Occam's Razor. . . and you get murder 2.
The jury is gonna shock EVERYBODY when they deliver the murder 2 verdict -OR- it's a gonna be a hung jury. But I don't think it's gonna be manslaughter.

Fact: The cell phone records support the Jeantel's account that she was on the phone with TM up until they got disconnected.
Now, her testimony was that the disconnection came at the time of, AND was due to the confrontation.
Here's the DEFENSES problem: In the animation, which is the SECOND attempt by GZ/defense to recount the event. In this animation, it shows TM just walk up to GZ, HANDS AT HIS SIDE, then punch GZ. However, in the animation, they don't show TM on the phone, as he walks up to GZ. Where's the phone??
This is why Rachel Jeantel's testimony is REALLY important. They'd have to discredit her testimony, that she wasn't on the phone with TM at the initiation of the conflict/encounter. The TIME log, PLUS her testimony, assails the defenses animation account that TM initiated the conflict.
