PWInsider now reports that WWE officials indeed met with Orton over the weekend and there is definitely talk about not bringing him back as soon as his suspension is over. Their report doesn't mention Orton being terminated but the idea would be to make Orton "sit it out and stew" once the suspension is over.
F4Wonline.com is reporting WWE may be dropping the A.W. "All World" stable storyline very soon.
Orton’s WWE Future Uncertain, Officials Want Him Fired

Randy Orton's future with WWE is uncertain following their announcement Wednesday that he was being suspended for 60 days for his second violation of the Talent Wellness Program. SuperLuchas.net reports the SmackDown wrestler met with Chairman Vince McMahon, Executive Vice President of Talent and Live Events Paul Levesque and Executive Vice President of Television Production Kevin Dunn at the organization's headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut on Friday to discuss his future with the organization.
A WWE source described the meeting's atmosphere as "hostile;" it was determined that a further decision concerning Orton awaits. The report adds there are "several" officials lobbying for his termination as a cost-cutting measure. They feel his lucrative ten-year contract—signed in January 2010—can no longer be justified if he is brought back in a mid-level role. His second suspension hinders WWE from continuing to feature Orton in headline role since a third drug-testing policy infraction would result in automatic termination.

Video: CM Punk Reveals Plans for a New WWE Title Belt

- WWE Champion CM Punk participated in a Q&A session while at the Comic Con in Philadelphia this weekend.
Punk revealed that there is indeed a new WWE Title belt, after months of speculation. Punk says he has seen the title and doesn't think it's any better than the current spinner title. Punk says the title was just made and weighs about 20 pounds more than the current belt. Punk says he wants to be the one to produce a new title and says it's coming soon.
About fucking time !!!!
He's going to be the top star they make an example out of, im sure other top guys have been using but for financial reasons they weren't caught. I think it's sickening that this is the guy who stopped the push of a guy who should be in the ME scene now, and he once again proved that he can't be trusted which is why he will never be the guy.
Now honestly im glad i became a fan as a kid when there was great wrestling going on, but tbh if someone tried to get me interested in wrestling and showed me the last month of wwe television i would tell them to go fuck themselves. Last night Cena stripped a grown man of his clothing and doused him with bbq sauce, what the fuck is going on in the wwe and who the fuck thinks this shit is entertaining but the fans cheering that crap are just as bad.
What a shock, a potentially good storyline being dropped because it makes sense which is forbidden in the wwe now.
I wouldn't be shock if it winds up looking like those tag titles that resemble a giant penny.
Aw don't say that. Now I'm starting to get nervous.
The tag titles, the divas title, the ecw title, hell, any title belt they've introduce in the last 10 years or so has looked like shit.
C'mon Punk, don't fuck this up. Simple is better. A plain gold belt with the eagle on it. Don't try to do too much.

Under the current testing, I don't believe anyone has been caught and not outed (I'm still wondering if HHH is under an Admin deal or a Talent deal, one tests, the other doesn't).
I agree with you, I think Orton has hurt any chance he has of ever being "The Guy" in WWE.
I got nothing on the show itself. I haven't watched it from start to finish yet but it's typical the way Cena acts and the way they book him. He should be pissed off but he jokes and laughs and pulls pranks.
And with Cole having pulled back strongly in his heel role, to push him into a main event spot with Cena is stupid and about a year too late even for just one show.

This isn't Punk's decision so if it's crap then it's on the wwe, he's already said he doesn't even know if the new one is better which is scary. The reason that these belts look like shit is changed designers and the former guy makes UFC belts now.

Orton is permanently a second fiddle wrestler now and i just chalk it up to karma. As for Raw outside of AJ & the Punk/Kane match it was just a shit show, i can't believe they're going to 3hrs which means more filler![]()
I don't understand why he doesn't follow the Austin route and get a custom belt made for himself. Austin said McMahon hated it until he saw the reaction of the live crowd on RAW and the WWE got flooded with calls on where they could get one. People were feeling the 'classic' redesign of the I-C belt. Cody begged for that change for months and the reaction was positive when it was revealed.
I keep hearing people like Heyman, and J.R. saying to take all these chances but no one does. That is why things are stale.
Yep. A guy with two strikes is not going to be a standard bearer for WWE. At the most, he'll be treated like Jeff Hardy is in TNA: always near the top but never The Man.
When WCW went to three hours, they had like a million guys and had a lot of different divisions like cruiserweight and tag teams. For WWE to go to 3 now when they can't use the guys they have is almost certain to be a mess.
Different environment. Vince was open to new shit back then when he was fighting tooth and nail with WCW. Now, he ain't listening to nobody. Even with Punk, when he got over last summer, Vince let him get over just to prove he would and as soon as he was signed and sealed, jobbed him to Alberto, HHH, and Miz and Truth in a tag match (while Cena was beating both of them singlehandedly).
Zack Ryder took a chance and got himself over and he's a bigger jobber than Santino Marella.
It would take someone like Punk or Cena to just come out there drop the belt and introduce a new one on the spot, he would be pissed until he hears the ovation the new title gets. Vince is one of those people that need their bluff called, if Cena did debut a new title what's Vince going to do because he wouldn't fire him.
Have him drop the belt and then job him out for months. There are worse things than being fired.
Look Vince is does stupid shit but jobbing out your top money earner? I don't think his investors would like that too much.
You watch the show, does it look like Vince gives two shits about his investors? If Punk bucked up to him, he might not fire him but he would become the doormat to every guy they want to make a main eventer. Punk's no Hogan or Austin or Rock. If he left, not much would change in WWE.

OH GOD PLEASE LET THIS BE A JOKE
Edit: On second viewing i think that's a side plate but even that looks awful

True he's not but if you want to go bankrupt then start firing your top guys to prove a point.
That was a good belt.
I think they dude who made them good belts is gone and they got a new person who makes fucked up shit like the spinner belt.
Punk said it was like 20 lbs heavier than the current belt so that shit must be wide and thick as fuckPeople in WWE are being tight-lipped about the Randy Orton suspension. One source who did comment believes that Orton tested positive due to a tainted supplement. As noted before, the SuperLucha reports that Orton tested positive for Dianabol are not confirmed.
SuperLuchas and PWInsider also reported a meeting between Orton and WWE officials to discuss his future last weekend. SuperLuchas named Vince McMahon, Kevin Dunn and Triple H as the officials who met with Orton. One source says that Dunn would not have been part of the meeting as it's not his department.
Vince McMahon is said to be going back and forth on Orton's future but the feeling is that in the end, they can't and won't get rid of Orton due mainly to depth issues. There is said to be a small, vocal pocket of people that is growing more outspoken about cutting Orton.
Orton's 60 day suspension will reportedly end July 29th, meaning he will miss the 1000th RAW in his hometown of St. Louis on July 23rd but would be eligible to return on the July 30th RAW, in time for the SummerSlam pay-per-view. The talk is that WWE may keep Orton out after his suspension is over, to teach him a lesson and have him miss the annual SummerSlam payday. Orton being gone for 60 days will cost him around $200,000. If he's not booked for SummerSlam and kept off TV for a few weeks longer after the suspension, then he will lose somewhere around $275,000.

That was a good belt.
