John Cena has filed for divorce from his high school sweetheart and wife of three years, Liz Huberdeau, reports The Miami Herald and TMZ.com. The WWE Superstar claims their marriage is "irretrevably broken."

The couple signed a prenuptial agreement that allows Cena, who possesses assets worth $18 million, the ability to take back all gifts and presents. Huberdeau has already hired powerful Miami attorney Raymond Rafool, who is best known for facing Hulk Hogan in his ugly divorce battle against ex-wife Linda. Rafool allegedly took 70% of the legendary grappler's assets and Huberdeau reportedly wants a similar take. A source close to the situation told The Miami Herald that this divorce would "dwarf the Hogan divorce in nastiness."

Rafool released a statement, claiming, "Although it is indeed unfortunate that John Cena decided to divorce his high school sweetheart Liz Cena; particularly, after they have come so far in their lives and in his career together, Liz will and really has no choice but to pursue all of her rights and entitlements.

"Sadly, divorce is not the way Liz thought her perfect love story would end."

Huberdeau's attorney adds that Cena "blindsided her" with the divorce filing. They had been having issues as the WWE Superstar approached her recently with a pre-divorce financial settlement agreement that she refused to sign due to her belief the relationship would work out.

They have been married for three years and this broad wants 70% of his assets?:lol::smh::hmm:

In fairness, they've been off and on for years and she was with him probably when he was The Prototype

BUT

They have no children and she's due for a nice settlement even if she does nothing so dragging this out and making so that the only people that come out of this rich are the lawyers (like Linda Hogan did with Hulk) is stupid.

And the beautiful part is Steiner buries Hogan, Bischoff, and Pritchard (though I like Pritchard for the most part) without burying TNA.

Maybe so but at least the Hogans had 24 years of marriage together as well as two children. Hopefully she doesn't go the entire route of Linda Hogan and try to bury Cena's career or this could get very nasty.

She'll get something but you can tell that the bullshit is already starting. So she was blindsided by the divorce papers even though he tried to make a pre divorce settlement with her?
And quite frankly considering that he was the one who needed neck surgery and has suffered the wear and tear of a wrestling career she is selfish as hell if she thinks that she deserves anything close to 70%. Of course nothing will surprise me in terms of how this goes. Hell Hogan got his ass kicked in divorce court and Ricky Steamboat ended up losing the moniker "The Dragon" to his ex wife.

watch wwe try to get john lauranitis to mention this in a promo.."whats the matter john, cant get over kicking your wife to the curb?" or something
then cole and lawler probably would be like"Oh THAT was a low blow.."

...actually I think next week would be a good time for the Rock to show up on RAW.

Now how Rick lost that I have never figured out. Ric Flair's been divorced 3 times and he's still "The Nature Boy".

over on Impact they doing the "cheating on your s/o" story angle..trying to imply that aj styles and dixie carter have something going on

..now i see why steiner bashing the company on his twitter

Back on the March 12, 2012 edition of Monday night RAW, The Rock held a "Rock Concert" in Cleveland, Ohio.

During the segment, Rock made a joke about John Cena getting a divorce from his wife, singing:

"Rock saw Cena making out with Eve... Grabbin' on her thigh, tuggin' on her weave. Cena was havin' the time of his life... I guess he didn't tell her that he's got a wife! Let's rock. Everybody let's rock. Divorce lawyer's right up the block... But we're dancing because Cleveland Rocks!... I guess it slipped his mind... while he was slipping her the tongue!"

Steiner isn't bashing the company, just Hulk, Eric and Pritchard.

TNA just put on their best ppv in months Sunday night. The one thing WWE can learn from them is how to push a heel champion. Roode and Kim look tough and beat people.

The Big Show did get fired on this episode of Raw, but don't expect that to last. He's advertised for tomorrow's SmackDown taping, for Over The Limit, and for the rest of the SmackDown shows taking place this month. Also, everybody's called him interfering in the Cena/Laurinitas match at Over The Limit. If there ever was a time for WWE to adjust booking plans based on what the Internet is predicting, this is the time

They just started that with Roode. Previously he was winning in a fluky manner.

This feels like an excuse to turn Big Show heel. He'll come out and nail Cena so Laurinitis gets the win.

Love him or hate him Vince was great as Mr.McMahon and people(me included)paid money to see him get his ass kicked by Stone Cold. This feud is god awful and the fact that Cena vs Laurinaitis is actually a main event is exactly what's wrong with the wwe now, no matter what they will never replicate Austin/Mcmahon which is why it was a classic. Was it just me or was Cena overcompensating last night as well? He's called Rock out on using "dated" material yet he reached all the way back into 94 with his Ace Ventura jokes:smh:

I didn't have a problem with that. That's how heel champions win. Flair rarely beat anybody clean. It was always cheating or a dq or a time limit draw (nobody did more 60 minute even 90 minute draws than Ric Flair). It's different from when Bryan was champ and never won at all and then lost the title in 18 seconds.

Are we still talking Rock/Cena? It's over. Rock won. We know the many rhetorical missteps and contradictions Cena made then so it shouldn't be a surprise that they would continue.

I hated Austin vs McMahon. It just didn't make sense to me. It had some great fun moments but it dragged on too long for me so you know I'm absolutely hating Laurinaitis vs Cena. So Show helps Big Johnny win and then what? Cena vs Show? :hmm: If they didn't want to do Brock vs Cena again quickly, I get that (they shouldn't have done it so fast in the first place) but just give Cena the time off and build some new stars.

I noticed last week that Cena started doing voice overs for the make a wish foundation. After its over they pan the crowd for an applause.

This is the WWE doing its due diligence by protecting their money maker.

God no. I was simply making a comparison:lol:

You didn't like Austin/mcmahon? That feud was the shit but by mid 99 i was ready for it to be over. Cena needs to take a break and get his life in order because from all reports he's got the aura of someone who has the walls closing in on him. Punk is capable of being the top guy for a while and i believe the ratings dwindled when he was in the main is because

A)Kids are stupid so when they didn't see Cena they immediately tuned out.

B)They didn't give him a chance to grow into the main event slot.

One thing that really pissed me off was picking up where he left off back in 02 when it comes to Lesnar. Lesnar has said often that He and HHH didn't get along back then and after last nights promo i believe him, they only had Cena win so they could say a wrestler beat a ufc guy and now they're labeling him a quitter. Heyman hit with some truth when he said Hunter has never lived up to the hype and you know that pissed him off hearing it:lol:.

I remember when Vince first tried out Mr. McMahon. It was before WWE on Memphis wrestling. He was going after Lawler and would piss him off and bring WWE wrestler with him every week. The faces were heels in Memphis. Great stuff.
I bet them kids thought Cena was doing original shit and not some old ass Ace Ventura shit because they weren't born when the movie came out.

I really didn't. It just didn't make sense to me in two ways: McMahon could fire him at any time and if it was leading to a match, Austin was going to beat the hell out of him. Worse, it lead to all the things I was afraid it would: Vince as a wrestler where he won the Royal Rumble and the WWE title (which he never lost).
I agree that they didn't help Punk when he first came back from his break so when they put the belt on him, they hadn't made him look like a real top guy compared to Cena. Plus the show was just bad on a regular basis so fans were tuning out no matter who was in the second half of the show even when it was Rock and Cena.
They use to know how to do that kind of thing. They used Dusty and Bruno to help draw while Bob Backlund was growing as WWWF champion and Backlund eventually was selling out MSG by himself.

I thought Heyman was off point saying HHH hasn't lived up to the hype. Political master that he is, he has earned the right to be known as one of the top guys of his generation.
With his history of quitting (he's earned the title of quitter by quitting), whether it was John Cena or CM Punk, Brock was going to lose and he should have. That's good booking (except for the bad booking of having the match so soon). TNA often makes the mistake of bringing in somebody from WWE and putting them over their homegrown talent and making TNA look weak.

Again you can't use logic in wrestling otherwise there would be no story lines at all. SCSA represented what every american wanted to do and that was kicking their bosses ass, I didn't like him winning the rumble and the only memorable thing about that Rumble was Taker coming out and having his goons snatch up Mabel:lol:

HHH is a legend but he's nowhere near the legend Hogan Austin & Rock are and he was booked like he was for a long time. He literally had the title handed to him back in 02 and didn't do what he should've done and that's lose to Booker at Mania 19. I was watching Ivory's shoot interview and what she said was 100% right when she said you don't ever cast him as the leading man, he's a great 2nd guy but Rock Austin & Foley made him in their feuds.

Not true. There used to be an emphasis on logic in storytelling in wrestling until Vince Russo became a significant factor in the WWF.
I got why people liked the storyline, I just didn't like it. I didn't like it or the way Austin had been watered down once he turned full babyface and he had his time as Superman too. If he hadn't got his neck broken and had two bad knees, he might have gotten old to the fans as well.

He's not on their level but few are. The fact is he's a legend, some legends are bigger than others. I don't think Rock made him but Austin and Foley definitely did but they were supposed to since they were the established superstars while he was the guy they were trying to get over. They did for him what Bret Hart and Undertaker did for them.
He did have a title handed to him but that's what they were doing back in those days. WCW did it a few times and WWF did it. But HHH was a good leading guy but only as a heel. He never got over fully as a full babyface once he was elevated past the IC level.
Hell yeah, he should have put Booker over at Mania. When you have your champ tell a guy he's not on "his level" and then goes out and beats him clean with his finisher, you just hurt Booker as a main eventer and it took years and a gimmick change to undo the damage.

Hulk Hogan has responded to Scott Steiner's claim that he and Eric Bischoff had sicced his lawyer.
"Tried to be cool, not only a clown but also a liar.those weren't my lawyers they were TNA lawyers.well I guess it's time to call my guys in, I really hope he saved his money or is making tons from the independents he's working because it's gonna get expensive, maby he's smart Enough to at least figure it out when it starts getting real, what a shame, what a waste of a great talent, but u can't tell an idiot their an Idiot. And there was also this one from Steiner

"Just when u didnt think it could get any worse in Tna,it has and guys are pissed bcuz hogan has brought In his no talent daughter,FF'n unbelievable, When i said guys were pissed thats putting it mildly...."

This is what happens when a guy has enough money and doesn't give a fuck about playing politics.
