I'm really feeling this one right now.
wonder if axel braun will make a "This Aint TNA/IMPACT XXX" parody w/ sophie dee as winter, jada fire as jacqueline and lisa ann as traci brooks

I'm really feeling this one right now.

Nattie's thick ass was wearing the fuck out of that dress.
I'm interesting in seeing where things go with Nash.Though I must admit I'm about as excited to see him in a match as I am to see Kelly Kelly in a match.

Truth and Miz...best part of the show

tag team back again
i'm trying to figure this out... Zack Ruder is chosen and they jobbed otunga and the other dude? I guess the king has a point since I can't remember their names right
The miz and truth... good team, good mic work, decent wrestling skills, and hate the name air boom
. They have my vote already.
Otunga and McGillicutty have something but the best I've seen Otunga, personality wise, is when he faced off with King last week. He showed some fire and he's been lacking that for a long time. He's not very good in the ring but he's always been solid on the mic and if the team is unimpressive, it's because Creative doesn't make them so. They never give them any promo time and they only have had one team to compete against since winning the belts and that was the Usos on SD which less than half the Raw audience even saw.
WWE had two angles going for it: Punk and to a much lesser degree Beth Phoenix and Natalya and they're defanging both. Punk's not going nearly as hard as he was a couple months ago and the two chicks who were out to "save" the Divas division from models now dress up and don't wrestle.
"Super Shredder"![]()
at it. All in all a very piss poor Raw effort and with football returning this was real bad timing.
c/s on this. I'm still skeptical of the tag division especially with this new Raw "Supershow" format. On another note, I'm growing very tired of this "Super" Cena shit! Mark my words, in a minute the boos are gonna outweigh the cheers.
I tried to warn you that all his "Shooting" and constant sarcasm would get old, you can be great on the mic without having to bring up shit that people don't know or care about i.e Rock, Austin, Rhodes, Flair, Hayes, Ladd Brody. The easiest thing to do would be to blame HHH & Nash but i always felt Punk was on borrowed time because truth be told he was checked last week on SD by HHH. Cena's lame shot at Rock was dumb considering he was wearing a cap that looks like it should come with a propeller. Nash saying he made wrestling cool again was an obvious joke because he didn't even sell it like he meant it but i stillat it. All in all a very piss poor Raw effort and with football returning this was real bad timing.

The problem is that short of what they initially did when Punk cut the promo and his first match with Cena they have dropped the ball with him. They brought him back to early, then they didn't let him beat Cena definitively instead letting Cena get his foot on the rope, and while I had no problem with the MITB cash in on him it being the result of Kevin Nash's interference has led to nothing that has elevated him.And they are now rushing him and HHH.This should be taking place at earliest at the Survivor Series not at the fucking Night of Champions. That said,Punk is doing about as well with what he's being given as he possibly could.
I have no problem with Nattie and Beth showing up out of the ring wear cause it shows that while they are legit in the ring they also are physically attractive. The real problem is that with them their actions should be alot louder than their words and right now it's the other way around.Laycool can talk a gang of shit cause they were lackluster in the ring.Let these two whoop some ass.
Problem is that Otunga isn't good in the ring.McGillicutty is good in the ring and they really need to let him use his real name. And the fact that they haven't gotten to show any personality isn't on them when they've had no promo time. And what happened to the Usos?I haven't seen them in about a month.
If that's what happened, I would have agreed with you then but it's not. Punk's not doing the same thing he was before SS. He's gone from the "anti-hero" to just another babyface.
The promos he cut this summer weren't, as I keep saying, "shoots" or very much even "work-shoots". He talked about things average fans could get behind without being "inside" fans. Not being seen as valuable and being looked over and passed over. That's shit people understand that never read one website and he was on that pulse. Now he's doing a bad impression of Jericho from early in the decade, shitting on Stephanie.
Worked-shoot is the term for any occurrence that is scripted by the creative team to come off as unscripted and therefore appear as though it were a real life happening but is, in fact, still part of the show. This can be seen as an example of the writers breaking the fourth wall and attempting to court the fans who are interested in shoots (e.g. events outside of the traditional in-ring wrestling matchups). This community of "smart" pro-wrestling fans are sometimes referred to as "smarks". Vince Russo, a professional wrestling writer, is noteworthy for frequently using this technique.
That is how his big "Summer Of Punk" started and calling out HHH Steph Vince and mentioning his friends that were fired were all part of his big angle. I know people want to believe Punk is the king of wrestling now but he made 1 big mistake imo, after the attacks on management got old he didn't switch up his style so now he comes off like a whiny bitch. Just imagine id SCSA did what Punk was doing now do you think he would've been as popular as he became? I'll end it with this do you remember when i said the true test for Punk was seeing if he could keep this up until WM? Well you just said he's not going nearly as hard as he was before and we're just into September.
I disagree. He did switch it up and seems like he took his foot off the accelerator.
Punk could do Punk for years. He's been doing it since the early part of the 00s. Whether he's allowed to do it is different.
When did he switch it up? He was an elitist sarcastic prick before and he's the same now, the only difference is the name of the wrestler he's talking about.
On the Super SD show, he was great but it seems every time he and Nash are close to each other, his promos take a noticeable dip. The faux throwing up for it seemed like forever was Cena-like and unworthy of him. Him and HHH seem to have good chemistry but we already have a big stip match so it's downhill from here.
Now i see where we're differing on opinions because i thought he had the same song & dance on SD and HHH handled him. Nash is not 96-98 Nash anymore and it shows, but the true great ones can shine through anything do you you remember Rock vs Billy Gunn? I feel wrestling is like music today in the sense what acceptable today would be garbage in years past. CM Punk is considered epic now, but look at how shallow the talent pool is i mean who's his competition?
I remember nothing Rock did saved that feud. Really, what memorable promo or event happened in that feud?
I thought HHH was on his game and Punk was on the same level. Nash can't do it anymore and he drags everyone, HHH included, down.
As for SD
Punk: I want change, I want this to be fun, Im going to speak my mind PIPE BOMB!!!!![]()
You can pretty much copy & paste his promos now but his fans will consider anything he does now EPIC!!! I swear if he farted they would say it was the most epic fart of all time.
D
You did not post that promo and then say about Punk that you can copy and paste his. Tell me you didn't say that (shout to Booker T).
Rock cuts that same promo, with squeaky voice thrown in, on Cena.
In fact, he just undercut a guy who the office was trying to push at the time. Lex Luger sucked for EVER but no one got on tv and told us he sucked. Bill Watts and Ole Anderson would have been on his ass as soon as he got pass the curtain.
Punk and HHH had a great segment when they weren't playing characters and came off realistic and having a serious conversation. I was worried when Punk sat down and kicked his feet up but they pulled it off.
Pay no attention to "news" that Nash was released. It's a work. Working the nets, nice to see the 90s back isn't it? No, not really.

Im assuming you're talking about Orton? If so then you've got to pick who you listen to more carefully. How much you wanna bet that at some point before NOC Punk will rehash his "change" promo and people will call it great. I know Rock had his catchphrases but you've seen the 11min vid of Rock's ether to Cena and i'll take that over the Punk is God crap. Let's be real here Punk said some things that we(fans)complained about so now we overrate everything he does/says.
Orton? I mean Gunn. Rock just cut down Gunn while the office was still trying to push him. That would have been completely unacceptable in years past. It's not about catchphrases, everyone has those, it's how he uses his promos that, to me, keep him out of the elite category with Flair, Rhodes, and Jim Cornette.Even if that's true, that's not on him, that's on (the misnamed) Creative. Nexus didn't flop because people didn't care, it flopped because it had poor follow through and execution. For him to not be a feature player come Mania would be an epic fail for WWE. Punk's shown he can get it done in the ring and on the mic, it's up to management to take advantage. But as soon as he re-signed, it was back to business as usual. My prediction is that by RR time Punk will be in the same boat as Nexus was last year, and with his new contract he probably won't mind as much. I know you love the guy but when you finally take off the shades and see what he(character)really is then you'll see that this was a gigantic fail and complete waste of time. The next big event is Survivor Series and unfortunately for Punk that's geared more towards a Cena/Rock showdown, unless it Cena vs Punk and Rock interferes and Rock Bottoms both of them.
Nash really is injured but not from wrestling or storyline he just old really really old![]()

I do think with Punk saying what a lot of fans are thinking is the hook. Pointing out the stupid shit is the best part of the gimmick. "Why have a contract signing when you're the boss and made the match on Raw?" Yeah, that's what a lot of people were thinking. He loses when gets silly and Miz killed him when he pointed that out and he cut back.

I do love the guy. I love any wrestler that can work and talk. I love Rock too, I just think WWE shouldn't let a visiting celebrity shit on the guy (Cena, who I've warmed up to but still not a big fan) who they need to make money and new stars with.
He needs months to get into shape to perform for WWE. Damn Kev.
Okay, so Big Kev got another movie role and they won't insure him if he's wrestling. That's why he was "released".
