Agreed. Way too much wrestling as it is. What’s the point of promos if u have to have a press conference? Glad I don’t pay for any of this crap

I don't recall their press conferences being as big or marketed like this one.

They can call this a press conference, but this was a show.

Their normal press conferences are in special concert halls designed for press conferences & they basically go over a card we already know.

This was a show in front of a live crowd, with entrances, catchphrases, & promos. Only thing missing was an actual wrestling match.

And I damn sure don't recall any previous press conferences that basically rewrote the card in-between an airing of a Raw and Smackdown.

This shit was great because you know why? We don’t know what is going on. All these dirt sheet fans who want shit to go there way? Confused and this is what it’s suppose to do.
I can't argue with you that this is great for throwing a unexpected monkey wrench in the mix and making things exciting.

I just wish they could have waited a single day and did all this on Smackdown tonight.

I'm honestly mad that I found all this out online. I know the current business model could give a fuck less about ratings, if the segment are getting retweeted and is trending world wide. But fuck the current business model :dunno:

Put that shit on a Smackdown or Raw. 5 hours of content a week is more than enough of an investment. I'm not now nor never joining the social media platforms so I can stay plugged in 24/7.

Is it exciting that anything can happen at anytime.... yes
It still needs to happen on a Monday or Friday night :dunno:

Some of y'all sound upset over them having a press conference, which they've always done for WM and even some of the other big PPVs.
This press conference was hyped up and bigger than usual because it was in the same city as the Super Bowl, The Rock is involved, and because there was such an uproar from fans over who would be in the main event.
It was advertised on Raw, so if you missed Raw that's on you.
WWE (and any other promotion) should absolutely use press conferences and social media to build up their matches and advance storylines.
Everything doesn't have to presented on Raw or Smackdown.

Well I’m expecting some more stuff from Smackdown. This whole ordeal should be a nice ratings boost for Smackdown. Hopefully they don’t kill this momentum they’ve built.

I’m not a big press watcher but I for sure remember Mayweather at the presser for his Mania match. I thought they do this every year.

Also, I think they need to bring in a Women's Tag Team Title Belts in the Division!!..They have enough women wrestlers on the roster to do that!!..
They need to tighten that division up overall and create some stable tag teams before they introduce tag titles. They got a lot of work to do before going down that road.

Haven't been this excited for a Smackdown in a while, hopefully they keep building from last night. I'm sure it's not going to be as exciting, but they laid the ground work for some good stuff.

This explains why her red belt reign was so short but she's right. Someone from another promotion shouldn't be able to come in and challenge for the World title just like that. That devalues the prestigiousness of the title. That's one of the things I hated about Stardom in 2023. They did the same thing with Megan Bayne when she came to Stardom. Automatically she's challenging Tam Nakano for the Red belt. I know Rossy had to be hating that shit because that's totally against the philosophy of how he books. With him everything has to be earned.

I went back and watched this week AEW Dynamite!!..That was a damn good action packed show!!.. .....They put on a good fight card for this week show!!..They started off the show right with the Swerve vs Hangman match!!..Man, that feud between the both of them is damn good!!..They put on a good match..I knew it would prob end up being a draw!!..Now, we got a three way with them and Samoa Joe at the PPV..The Black Pool Combat Club vs CML was a good match!!...The Jericho vs Konosuke Takeshita match good as well....The last match with Sting and Darby Allin vs Rick Starks and Big Bill was good!!..I was shocked that Sting and Darby won The Tag Team Belts!!..That was a big shocker there!!..They way how The Young Bucks came at the end and did some damage was crazy!!..That match at the PPV with Sting and Darby vs The Young Bucks should be a good one!!

This was a damn good action packed Dynamite this week!!....I'll check out Rampage and Collision later on this weekend!!

Need a triple threat match with Kiera Hogan & Leila Grey.

:hellyea:

Add Red Velvet in the mix ........
