Titus is a fool. They need to use him more often on TV
I'm sure he got a talking to though since WWE never likes discussing religion on TV.
I always liked the theme song Rick Rude had in WCW. That run he had in WCW during the early 90s was criminally underrated.
I've said before that early 90s WCW was my favorite era of WCW.
Sorry, but I can't agree with you about WCW towards the end. That was an absolute shitshow and some of the worst stuff I've ever seen on TV.I agree WCW before Hogan arrived was great and Fall 2000 to March 2001 of WCW was underrated

No, I didn't care for the cruiser tag division. WCW as a brand was dead at that point and not worth bringing back. You didn't like the cruiser weight tag division? I think Johnny Ace, Jimmy Hart and Bruce Prichard tried to straigtening out WCW
That injury actually took place in Japan, not in WCW.That dumbass Japanese stage setup WCW used robbed us of what should have been peak Rick Rude. He could have gone down as one of the GOATs. I cringe every time I see his back hitting that elevated stage.

Early 90s WCW had great talent on their roster (Steve Austin, Rick Rude, Vader, Ric Flair, Steiner Brothers, etc.) but had horrible business management.
Bill Watts also put in stupid rules like the over-the-top rope DQ and no moves off the top rope.

The Attitude Era would have been perfect for Rick Rude. A rivalry with Austin would have been phenomenalThat dumbass Japanese stage setup WCW used robbed us of what should have been peak Rick Rude. I’d say 6 months at the most. Iyo is super talented in the ring but her mic skills are non existent and she doesn’t have the charisma that Asuka does. And how long will Iyo have it before they start burying her like Asuka?

Mic skills matter in this country. Maybe they don't matter in Japan, but it matters here.Vince just doesn't know how to book Joshi talent or Japanese talent in general for that matter. A good booker is able to book to the strengths of the talent and minimize the weaknesses. Mic skills shouldn't matter. You can tell a story in many different ways than standing in front of crowd cutting a promo. Asuka was a badass in NXT (Triple H) then came to the main roster and became a goofball dancing around like an idiot. That's not charisma. Book and present these women properly.
And the thing is the cheat sheet is already out there. All you need to do is look at how Rossy Ogawa books Syuri, Giulia, AZM, Tam Nakano, Utami Hayashishita, etc in Stardom. Even Io Shirai (Iyo Sky) was booked ten times better than what she's doing in WWE.

There's a reason all these Japanese girls you love don't get over here in the states.
Doesn't matter if it's Vince, HHH or "Booker of the Year" Tony Khan booking them it's always the same result. They hit a ceiling.
I've said it a million times, it takes more than just having good matches to really get over in this country.
You have to connect with the audience and get the audience invested enough in your character to want to see your matches.
Sorry, but the average wrestling fan can't name even THREE of these Japanese girls.Huh? A lot of Joshi talent are OVER in the States. What are you talking about? Mic skills only matter in WWE. Every promotion outside the WWE have given Joshi talent a good to great reception. Primarily because they already follow these women in Japan so when they come to the States they know who they are.
What ceiling? Yuka comes over she STILL gets pops. Riho comes out she STILL gets pops, Shida, etc.
And I've said it a million times that that narrative only applies to WWE. With that logic Muta, Liger, Bull Nakano, Akira Hokuto, would've never gotten over in States BUT THEY DID WITHOUT SAYING A WORD.
Man... There is a difference between being "over" with a specific audience and being "over" with general audiences.Sorry, but the average wrestling fan can't name even THREE of these Japanese girls.
Getting pops from the same relatively small wrestling audience that eats up everything they do is not "being over".
The people you named at the end achieved success here in the States, but even they hit a ceiling.
None of them were ever main eventers at Starrcade, Halloween Havoc, etc or world champion here in the States.
