They trying to make a story out of something that isn't even there, but it's free publicity and MJF hasn't even said a word. Even if he would go to WWE he would be toned down and made the new Million Dollar Man.
.....again, like they did Cody Rhodes?

I still find it all this AEW Owen Hart Foundation love fest stuff weird. Martha Hart reminds me of Fred Goldman, basically making a career off the memory of a dead loved one.....glad this tournament is over.

No different than Dana Warrior and WWE....

I see it a little differently than Ron Goldman. More like Assata Shakur with Tupac. Yes Ron is building a career, but he would have to do it in the service industry since his son was a waiter.

But similar to how Fred Goldman always found a camera to attack OJ, Martha Hart never passes up an opportunity to attack the WWE/Vince and Co. (her absolute right btw)...

The Owen Hart Foundation, last I saw, wasn't a wrestling specific organization.... Martha just seems to be using AEW as a way to get the foundation out there due to her refusal to do any business with WWE.

I dunno, good for her, just comes off as weird (to me) that AEW is releasing figures and being such strong ambassadors for a man who has no ties to their company outside of a few wrestlers and producers who knew Owen.

Cody always fit in with WWE and their style even when he was in AEW. It's different with MJF.
I just cannot see MJF's character ever working in WWE. He would definitely be watered down, just a matter of how much.
I could see him being a Roddy Piper type in WWE, which would be a watered down version of himself.
A big part of MJF's appeal is his razor-sharp verbal attacks, which WWE does not allow for anymore.

It's not even about styles. It's about what works and what doesn't. MJF works and WWE will give him that space. They have done so with Cody. They have done so with others.

As far as changing up, Cody came in basically unchanged, all while people swearing up down that he would be have to change up his gimmick and get buried.

MJF may very well be watered down. He may not. We won't know until if/when he jumps.

WWE seems high on him and if the experience with Cody is any indication, they very well may not want to fix something that isn't broken.

WWE is entertainment first and MJF is entertaining doing what he does best. I don't see them neutering him much.

I was one of the cats that thought Cody wouldn't go and well...here we are! Money talks, and if you pay a man enough he will walk through Hell. So if he does jump, It would probably be really good for him financially. But do they subject him to the writing team that WWE has or do they give him the ability to keep writing his own stuff. I will say this do they need another Miz in the WWE? Cause that is the role MJF will be in

MJF is a much better wrestler than the Miz. I would see him in more of a Roddy Piper type in the WWE.

No argument there, but this is Sports ENTERTAINMENT we're talking about. MJF isn't going to be used as a wrestler. Talk shows and promos. The difference with The Miz though is he will break character to do Dancing with the Stars or his reality show. MJF would rather not do that (see flipping off little kids at signings) but like I said; 'pay a man enough...'

It was a work like I said all along. People actually thought he was gonna be written off of TV. TK didn't say anything at the "Double Or Nothing" media scrum because he was in on it. If it was a shoot do you really think TK would be giving MJF a live mic on Dynamite in front of Warner Media execs?
I didn't even know about this whole MJF situation until AFTER Double or Nothing. I didn't know people legit thought he wouldn't show up.
Yeah, this is all clearly a work and MJF is about the best in the business right now at working fans.
So refreshing to see a guy who takes his character so seriously. I believe him and his character are one in the same.

Insane promo from MJF. This might go down as one of the best works of all-time. TK and MJF have cooked up some great shit here.

Great stuff. Very reminiscent of Punk's pipebomb promo.
I like them cutting his mic, going to black and the announcers not even acknowledging it after the break. Curious to see where this goes.
TK is not a good on-screen personality so not sure who MJF will be able to play off of for this "feud".

Wonder where they're gonna take the eventual Christian Cage turn on Jungle Boy. Guess just a summer feud and Christian gets paired with a partner at some point.
