So a couple wins the male and female tournament........
Britt Baker vs. Ruby Soho: SMH, I just don't understand why Britt Baker had to win this tournament. She didn't need it. Why not have Jamie Hayter win it?! Booking blunder by TK.
As brand ambassadors it makes sense to put it on Cole and Baker.
Crowd sounds dead
Sammy Guevara, Tay Conti and Frankie Kazarian vs. Scorpio Sky, Paige VanZant, and Ethan Page: This ended up being a entertaining match. PVZ did fairly decent in her first match. Loved the Michinoku Driver she did. Has to work on her selling and move transitions but that will come with time and reps. She's super green! Sammy and Tay are great heels. Kazarian, Sky, and Page were all solid.

Kylie O'Reilly vs. Darby Allin: Good match. TK must see something in O'Reilly. He's been getting a solid push lately. I'm surprised he went over here.
Serena Deeb vs. Thunder Rosa: The two best female workers in the company didn't disappoint. A technical master class. Love it! Rosa retains!
Jericho Appreciation Society vs. Jon Moxley, Eddie Kingston, Bryan Danielson and Santana and Ortiz: Wild match. Blood and brutality. A lot of fun!

Lowkey this a helluva match
Powerhouse Hobbs and Ricky Starks vs. Luchasaurus and Jungle Boy vs. Swerve Strickland and Keith Lee: Good match but it's time to get the belts off of Luchasaurus and Jungle Boy. Swerve Strickland and Keith Lee: should've won this.
Not sure what, but something is going to happen here. A heel turn, a new debut or whatever, but something is up.
CM Punk vs. Hangman Page: Good match and great storytelling. Hangman's emotions got the best of him and cost him the title. It was Punk's time to get it. Now Punk can run with it for awhile.
I was rooting for Swerve and Lee to win.
I like the explanation of the botches since they were targeting each other's knees, but great match and Summer of Punk 3 has begun...
Now to see what TK has to say about MJF in the media scrum.
Overall, it was a good pay-per-view but ran way too long. They could've cut out at least three matches and that would've tightened things up a bit. Also, some questionable booking decisions had me shaking my head. Luchasaurus and Jungle Boy should've dropped the tag titles. Adam Cole and Britt Baker had no business winning the Owen Tournament and the Young Bucks in their prime shouldn't be losing to the broken down Hardys. The Death Triangle/House Of Black match and the last four matches on the card really saved this ppv from being incredibly weak. We'll have to wait and see how things shake out in the MJF situation. TK isn't talking about it at the moment. Punk should have a good reign with the World title. When Omega gets back you know I want to see him against Punk.
