Watching some of Double or Nothing....

Missed the earlier matches, but from what I've seen, it really seems like some of these guys (and girls) are still trying to figure themselves out.

WWE is notorious with having talent wrestling each other for months, but I feel like that really helps them get their timing right.

Tonight, I'm noticing a lot of "waiting for spots" in these matches, especially in the Jade match and now in this Trios House of Black/Lucha Bros match...

Good match but their timing seems off.

That Jade vs Anna Jay match wasn't very good. I know Jade is a star they want to build-up and to a lesser degree, Anna Jay. But they need more time in the ring to get better. Tony Kahn really needs to start pushing more veteran women workers.

Yeah those repeat matches do help the wrestlers get to know each other and build up chemistry. That's what AEW needs to use the Youtube shows for.

Death Triangle vs. House Of Black: This was excellent! Everyone had great chemistry. Loved the ending as the lights went black and back on with Julia Hart spraying Pac in the face with the black mist. Julia's transformation to House Of Black is finally complete. Great stuff!

I still find it all this AEW Owen Hart Foundation love fest stuff weird. Martha Hart reminds me of Fred Goldman, basically making a career off the memory of a dead loved one.....glad this tournament is over.

No different than Dana Warrior and WWE....

Sammy Guevara, Tay Conti and Frankie Kazarian vs. Scorpio Sky, Paige VanZant, and Ethan Page: This ended up being a entertaining match. PVZ did fairly decent in her first match. Loved the Michinoku Driver she did. Has to work on her selling and move transitions but that will come with time and reps. She's super green! Sammy and Tay are great heels. Kazarian, Sky, and Page were all solid.

Powerhouse Hobbs and Ricky Starks vs. Luchasaurus and Jungle Boy vs. Swerve Strickland and Keith Lee: Good match but it's time to get the belts off of Luchasaurus and Jungle Boy. Swerve Strickland and Keith Lee: should've won this.

CM Punk vs. Hangman Page: Good match and great storytelling. Hangman's emotions got the best of him and cost him the title. It was Punk's time to get it. Now Punk can run with it for awhile.
