I think people have talked that WWE should do something along those lines. Like seasons. I guess I'd ask how their contracts work with extended time? So if they've been rotated out to work other promotions, do they then stop getting paid by AEW & paid by other promotion? Or does AEW still pay them? If it's the latter, that's going to become unwieldy if they aren't making the company money by being on the parent promotion.

I know they have All Elite (permanent) & temporary wrestlers. AEW just seems more hardcore fan based. So unless the goal isn't making money I don't see how you can hire so many former WWE guys & keep everyone happy before it just becomes WCW.
You're saying the same thing I've been saying, but that the hardcore AEW fans don't wanna hear.
They accuse you of being a WWE mark if you say anything negative about AEW.
It's simply not a good business model to just keep hiring every WWE castoff that has a little following on social media.
If TK is still paying guys while they work other promotions, that's even more foolish due to the risk of injury.
Omega and Moxley are out due to injury and rehab, respectively. Christian has just seemingly been forgotten about.

Hook already learning bad habits. They have something with this kid but they need to be careful with him.
Yeah, Hook is clearly over with the audience. He's homegrown and very young.
I don't quite get the fascination, but they clearly have something with him.
They need to bring him up properly and not have him fall into the same bad habits like a lot of the other guys on the roster.

Booker is a charicture at this point. Anything to keep that WWE check. Shuckey Duckey should sue his ass for stealing his shit too. Aye Book people are leaving because they're talent is being wasted because the owner short sighted as fuck. Look at Riccochet. Fans wanna get behind him but Vince don't see it. Wanted to call up Adam Cole and change his name and make him a manager!!??
Riccochet has no personality. Sorry. Yeah, he can do all the acrobatic flips and dives but he's as boring as dried paint.
In terms of Aleister Black, his act was too satanic and dark for WWE programming.
And let's be honest, he's not exactly setting AEW on fire right now. He can work, but his act can be a bit over the top.
Right now he's working a program with the Varsity Blondes, if that gives you any indication of where he is in the AEW pecking order.

Ricochet had more personality when he was Prince Puma in Lucha Underground.

Outside of all that flippy shit, dude is boring as fuck.

I really see Vince and WWE using AEW as their retirement/placeholder program....

They get rid of unneeded talent, save on money and if they need talent in the future will always just poach them when the time is right.

Yes, there hasn't been a talent to jump ship from AEW to WWE yet, but it's only a matter of time.

Regarding all those WWE castoff signings for AEW, what exactly have they amounted to really?

Outside of a few, most haven't done a damned thing of note. Where is Andrade? Black shows up spin kicks someone, spits ink and disappears until he does that shit again.

Miro (decent run with the TNT title) and Cole are probably the only ones given enough time.

Even Ruby Soho, came in with a buzz but seems to have been forgotten....

AEW is basically trying to be NXT from a few years ago, only with a more bloated roster and that shit will not do them favors.

If I were a released wrestler, I'd probably angle towards Impact more so than AEW, unless I was a top talent and ridiculous guaranteed money was thrown my way.

I really feel like AEW is where WWE released wrestlers go to stay warm, until WWE needs them again.

I don't think this is accurate. They say Nyla Rose is making $1.9 million. Even Moxley is overpaid in my opinion. Regardless you're see original signed guys who are relegated to Dark not get resigned.

That list is utter bullshit. Whoever came up with it just pulled numbers out of their ass. I'm pretty sure it's been debunked by now.
There's no way Nyla Rose (or a lot others on that list) is making that much.

EDIT: I just saw they have Dusty Rhodes making $2mil a year

Jericho is the only person I would guess making remotely 7 figures. The Bucks said on BTE they made less money than they did a year ago after extending their contracts.

She should be an illegitimate child of Vince McMahon. She should have a feud with Triple H and Stephanie daughter Aurora Rose Levesque over the future of WWE. The can re-incorporate Stephanie and Shane as each would look to split the WWE into three separate companies. Triple H comes in and purchases ROH for the catalog and reestablish ROH Like he did with NXT. Je could bring back some of "his" talent.

Thoughts on tonight's Dynamite...

- They need to push Santana & Ortiz to be the guys to take the belts off the Lucha Brothers.

- Thunder Rosa losing to Jade means she'll be the one to dethrone Baker at "Revolution" in March to be the new Women's World champ.

- I picked Ruby to win the TBS tournament and I believe it will happen. Jade is just too green to be champ. She looked horrible out there tonight. Even Thunder Rosa couldn't carry her to a good match.

- Mercedes Martinez coming out to help Jade was meh. Mercedes does nothing for me. Boring. That would've been a good spot to debut Ember Moon instead.

- Dan Lambert coming off like a babyface in a feud with Cody and Brandi Rhodes. When Brandi squared up to take on Lambert I was secretly hoping Paige VanZant would come out and attack her from behind. I would've popped for that. Brandi needs to sit her ass down somewhere.

- So if I understand this correctly there will be a Ladder match at "Revolution" where the winner gets a shot at the TNT title. MJF supposedly made up a contract where if Wardlow wins the ladder match and goes on to win the TNT Title, he has to relinquish it to MJF.

- CM Punk with the line of the night. "MJF is "a bigger waste of Khan money than Tim Tebow." I wonder if Punk wasn't allowed to say Urban Meyer.

- Looks like we're getting Shida/Deeb 4. Let this be the last match between these two.

- I wonder how Triple H feels as chants of "Undisputed" is heard with Cole, Fish and O'Reilly in the main event AEW Dynamite tonight.

I don't understand Storm quitting. Just comes off as dumb. She was in a (title) program with arguably the greatest women's wrestler today and she ups and leaves?

Gotta be something more.

Mercedes is more believable in terms of look as muscle than Ember. Besides I don't think that Jade's gimmick works with Ember either. I have assumed that this tournament was set up for Jade to win. I still assume that that's the case.

They may be rushing this Wardlow thing too quickly.

Brandi is the worst and it's a damn shame that she doesn't understand that. She's the definition of go away heat.

Triple H has to be at home thinking Vince and Bruce and Johnny Ace just had to fuck it up didn't they?

Agreed with Jade. She reminds me of Bianca when she was in NXT and first came the main roster. Just doesn't flow. Looks stiff and like she is counting in her head.
And MJF/Wardlow/Spears reminds me of DiBiase/ Andre/Virgil and this video but I think that's what they are going for with Wardlow eventually becoming a face against MJF. Same with Sting and Flair.

Special shout out to Fuck Hulk Hogan for not even halfway selling his shoulder could have been down and popping right up. Looking like he was reaching for a money in the bank briefcase
