These are minor players in the minor league but sending them to the competition will elevate their talent pool and recognition to the casual wrestling fan.

Ember Moon/Keith Lee fits the AEW smart mark audience.

The others will not technically the best wrestlers while in the WWE will look great in the other promotion

it seems like WWE is going all in (no pun intended) in all or nothing main eventers. If you arent Roman, Becky, Charlotte, Sasha, Bianca, the New Day, Brock and maybe a few others you are expendable. To me its a short sighted approach and when you have 5 hours of programming each week its mind numbing seeing the same promos & matches week after week.

its fuck the mid-card
its fuck story developement
its fuck NXT & call-ups (alot NXT call-ups were DOA, but they now cutting some of em before they even debut...Tony Storm, Tegan Nox and few others might already be on the clock)

and for me its FUCK WWE

That's exactly why I hate that whole argument because basically it's damned if they do, damned if they don't.

People want a black world champion, but then the second they make a black man the world champion, them same people that was crying gone be like "oh they only gave it to him because he's black."

How do I know? Because they already do that with Scorpio and Nyla. If you mention that out of 17 championship reigns from four belts in two years, AEW has had two black champions, they marginalize them like "well, Scorpio was just a tag team champ and his partner was white, and they only gave it to Nyla because he a transformer and he's Native American, too."

Then when you mention how they don't have main event level black male talent because most of the best black wrestlers in the world are already signed somewhere, and Shawn Dean and Shotty Lee have shown no personality just like most of Cody's people, and Scorpio is boring, and Ricky has a broken neck, and Hobbs done had his head rocked in at least 2 of his last 3 TV matches, but somehow he's should be working matches with Kenny Omega and Danielson taking hella V-triggers, knee strikes, dragon-ranas and snap germans and shit. And the rest of the brothers are tag team wrestlers - they don't wanna hear none of that.

And then when we mention black wrestlers in the indy scene they could sign and immediately push to the main event scene, and could headline a marquee, put on a great match, and can cut a good promo, and is over with the fans already - then it's "well they still probably won't do it because he black..."

Like it has to start from somewhere. They either gotta sign a main eventer or develop one, either way, it's gone take some time. It'll happen at some point.

I think people are just impatient because they've been jaded by WWE.

Kofimania was supposed to be Ali-mania. MVP had to produce his ass off to get Bobby taken seriously because the best idea Vince and 'em could come up with for Bobby after two years was a PG-version of a Blacked.com storyline. And Big E is champ now because Vince is so inept at getting white boys over (especially when they're real life pieces of shit) that he had no fuckin' choice but to put it on the most over nigga on the roster who got there by being himself. One of the few people allowed to be themselves and show that he has the charisma to be a celebrity and a movie star, just like how The Rock had to.
I'm just wanting a promotion to crown a black champion because they truly want to and believe that he's the best and not on some PR shit or because they ran out of white guys to give it to. Maybe it's wishful thinking on my part. Even going back to WCW, that was the case.
They gave the belt to Ron Simmons as a PR move and then Booker T right before they went out of business.

WWE has not created any stars in a long time.

Last one was John Cena. Roman Reigns may he the last one.

Looking at all the cuts, one thing that they all have in common is, none of those let go were ever any real "needle movers"....

I mean, let's keep it real, Keith Lee was good in the ring but had a bad character. You can't blame that solely on WWE. He's partially to blame as well.

Karrian/Killer Kross, good character that was crapped on when moved to the main roster, however, again, he people didn't care to see him. Plus, I suspect he's one of the ones who got cut for not being vaccinated.

As wrestling fans, we hate to see all these talents let go, but none of the guys released were selling tickets nor causing people to tune in.

They aren't needle movers due to what is given to them. BEARCAT?!?! Talking about making lemonade out of shyt! John Cena was gonna be a star with that Thugenomics bullshyt. Roman had The Shield, but then how long until he had a character that pushed the needle?

I hope they both decide to move on. There's no guarantee that if they resigned that WWE won't fire them 5 to 10 months from now.

Yeah and I know WWE has its flaws and I know their history but even putting the title on Big E and Lashley didn't feel like it was a PR stunt. Didn't feel like pandering. That's just my opinion though I could be completely. You can tell when its pandering and when its not. I'm personally not hoping for AEW or anyone else to pander to the general public about a person of color holding their belt. But damn am I suppose to believe that all the black wrestlers on aEW are inferior to the white ones that no one is even anywhere near a title shot?

The thing about WWE is are they making money?

WWE reported revenue of $255.8 million, which is an increase of 15% or $34.2 million. They credited the increase with higher ticket sales and venue merchandise sales from the return to touring.

They are making bank doing it the way they've chosen to do it. So to Vince his product isn't suffering. AS a matter of fact since the 15% increase he probably feels like he's doing something RIGHT. Cut deadweight you have nothing for and shit if they get their buzz up go and sign they ass again lol. As fans we sitting here hating this shit but someone is eating it up. They are eating up a demo.

Let’s be honest though….WWe can develop new talent. They let them go because they could. We not talking about getting rid of The Rock or Stone Cold in their prime. This is like Marvel letting Terrence Howard go. They can just go and get a Don Cheadle.
That's a nice thought. Thing is, in the dying days of WCW during one of his rants Scott Steiner mentioned how everybody who at the top of the card in the WWF except for The Rock had been in WCW and let go. And if booked right that could damn near be the case with AEW. I don't see it happening because the EVPs are all doing their b.s. and there's too much cringeworthy material.
To think that there is still a place for Madcap Moss, Dana Brooke and Jaxson Ryker but not Keith Lee, Frankie Monet, Mia Yim or Karrion Kross.

thats cool for Vince and WWE shareholders
but as a fan I dont care about how profitable they are. I care(d) about the wrestling, storytelling and character development.

if Vince doesnt sell eventually the bill will come due cause the company is creatively bankrupt and they cant build new talent let alone create stars

I understand from the fan perspective. I’m just noticing people think WWE is failing. In their eyes they aren’t. If they were failing their product would look a lot different.

Okay, so I just got back from the show and I must say it was pretty good. Unfortunately my cell battery died before Rampage started so the only pictures I got were from the Dark matches. The crowd energy was ho hum throughout Dark but went up another notch once Rampage started. I apologize for the quality of these images as I took them with my cell phone.

Taz And Excalibur

The Gunn Club: Billy Gunn looks even more jacked in person.

Dark Order: Crowd popped for Dark Order. A lot of Brodie chants. Anna Jay looks just as sexy in person as on TV.

Riho: Nice pop for Riho. A dude in the back of me was saying in pity "What happened to you Riho? You're relegated to wrestling on Dark." upload your files for free

Tony Khan: Tony came out and apologized to the fans because the "Full Gear" ppv was originally suppose to be in Saint Louis but he had to move it saying if he held it tomorrow it wouldn't be good business sense as it would conflict with the Canelo Alvarez/Caleb Plant fight. He then went on to say that he had purposely stacked the Dark card with a lot of matches as the way to make up things up and man did we get a lot of matches. I lost count but I think there had been at least 15 matches on Dark.
