I've watched Asomugha play. Not as much as a Raider fan but I have to question that by what you're seeing. Asomugha plays a lot of zone coverage. Basically shuts down his side of the field. Teams rarely put their best receiver on the side of the field Asomugha is on. They usually line him up on the opposing side(see Deangela Hall getting his ass tore up something fierce).

SMH. If you're a Raiders man, you would recall the game last year in KC. Asomugha went out of the game because of dehydration and KC lit us up. Stanford Routt got burnt on a post (or fly) route and almost cost us the game. They weren't doing jack prior to that drive. It was a deadlock up until that point.

A.J., one of the best GMs in the business, I hate to admit, gave Crome the boot because A) his play declined significantly and they didn't want to pay him and B) off the field issues.
Crome got exposed after that Chargers pass rush leveled out.
Don't use my posts as a spring board for Jets/Revis propaganda. Revis is arguably the best but still has to prove he can do it on a consecutive basis. And his presence may put even more pressure on Crome. We'll see. No hate for the guy but . . .
So you're gauging Cromartie's performance off of stats (INTs), but Asomugha's stats just gets a pass?
