So the show finally took a page out of the comic and put all of the former neighbors and family members that turned and put them in the barn.

Hershel is full of shit. These mofos aren't suffering from rabies or severe dementia. He knows these mofos are rotting. So even if a cure was given the walkers would die instantly on getting the antidote. You know gangrene, organ shut down, plus their intestines released feces into their flesh.
A cure would only work for survivors who can not turn after a bite(being immune to the zombie cooties does not mean you still can't get torn to pieces.)

Shit...the first five minutes was the best part. I was waiting to see panic and chaos from a walker ambush...I'll take the napalm of the city. They could have done this "barn" discovery two fucking episodes ago.

They are really dragging this "search for the girl" theme too damn far. That girl survive on her own better than they did together. These episode are more about personal tension between the living than surviving the dead. These next episodes better be good. That barn better lead to something deep.
