The pace of this season is incredibly slow. Especially if you're used to the comic book. I truly hope this season is not only 8 episodes. If it is 4 eps have already been wasted on finding Sophia.

I'm a hardcore fan of the book and as much as the show has been annoying me I know damned well that i'm still going to watch it week after week. The same way I did Heroes long after they jumped the shark. :smh::smh:

just got the RISE OF THE GOVERNOR novel from my local library...

so at this point I watch to show just to WATCH, I am not ENJOYING as much as I hoped i would...:(

I hate T-Dogg. Shit, why can't they have some regular Black dude. Some every day Black dude that had a job and family before this shit. not some ignorant thug wanna be.

They are strappin up simply because they don't want to bring a child into this shithole. Would you?

This season ain't slow. They are just out in the country and there aren't a lot of people. Less people, less zombies. Daryl is lucky the zombie started with his shoe. I like it, because other than searching for the lil girl, they are attempting to follow the comic.

This all day. I like the pace this season also. keeps you wanting more, and giving little bits. The show isn't about how many zombies you can kill. It's about surviving in a new more dangerous world.

Sam there are no audiobooks for the walking dead, only the comics. I believe this is the only book that kirkman has written for the walking dead universe

Without revealing too many spoilers the governor lost a hand due to revenge, if the writers try and change that part of the story that will be some BS.

The show would have done better on a premium cable network like showtime or HBO. Most of what happens in the comic wouldn't make it on basic cable.

Thats pretty much true about every show, with an hbo or showtime you wouldnt have a network telling you that this subject is taboo and you cant show this and that.

Here is exactly what he said

Kirkman: There's certainly a possibility of that, but I think people might be thinking a little too hard about it. I have had fans, after watching the third episode, email me or say something online on a message board about how they think Merle is going to be The Governor of the television show. All I would say to that is that I don't think people are going to be able to figure out this show that early. We have interesting things in store for Merle that will probably surprise you. And The Governor, as he is in the comic books, is a character that Frank [Darabont] really likes and he's very adamant that he wants to get him into the television show. So we wouldn't bring him onto the show in a way that makes him fundamentally different from how he was in the comic. ​

Now that Durabonts fired who the fuck knows whats gonna happen or if Merle will even be back on the show.

The problem with TV adaptations is that you can't just kill off popular or important characters like you can in the books.

That's why if you read the comics, then the TV show is a snooze fest because none of the established characters have died this season.

In the early comics, you had the feeling that they would kill off anybody, even Rick. That's what forced you to keep reading.

They took alot of the danger out of the show.

Last episode made me realize that I should have created a Walking Dead Drinking Game.

Everytime Shane's Hyundai creeps into a scene somehow, take 5 shots.

Last Episode-Take a shot everytime the dirt disappeared then reappeared from Daryl's face when he was talking to Merle.

This is kinda showing the talent of the writers when they have the comic to use as an outline the shows really good, but when they start going off on their own the show gets slow and boring as fuck.:smh:

My sister watched last season and kept telling me how good it was. I watched the first season on Netflix and now i'm hooked. The same happen with True Blood. I missed the first season then got caught up watching it on demand.

Na they won't not unless AMC drop the show and it hit HBO...but seriously I expect the show will be cancelled for the make it that far...that being said this last ep was real damn good...I guess the redneck is my fav character in the show since it was about him...Shane too...I like his approach to the situation and shit ironically his ass should be dead by now
