Also, The hardest line of the season (maybe the series) was uttered tonite too, "I wondered how many of you i would have to kill in order to save you...".

Good to see Morgan doing his thing. Lennie James is a good acting talent. Been a fan of his for years, and for those who haven't seen the short-run, 1 season LOW WINTER SUN series that aired on AMC in 2013 ... check that one out. Enjoyed that shit. He was co-lead on it.

So I got curious and did some research on the actual comic. Damn they changed sooooooo much! Kinda throws the show off for me a bit. Still decent though.
I see they basically reversed the roles of Deanna and her husband. Seems unnecessary but I guess that's to appeal to the "strong woman in charge" female demographic.
I also see they totally changed the Tyrese character too. Dude used to get on my last nerve and I thought he was a straight bitch, only to realize he was nothing like that in the original comics. Kinda makes me wonder what the agenda is, seeing as how they have made all the black male characters on the show either weak physically or mentally (even if they weren't really that way in the comics).

for a minute I thought the show was about to jump the shark and Morgan was going to go full Ninja
Don't get me wrong, I like the fight scene but it seem out of place. Would have like a more grittier fight with more blood.

Wouldn't call it a horrible finale. Horrible would be the season 1 finale of The Strain. That shit made me want to kick my tv. Last night's episode didn't have the punch that last year's Terminus capture episode did, but it had a fair share of action, and plot movement. I do wish that there was more of the Morgan/Rick reunion than the "Rick?" at the end though.
For me, the test of any finale is how much it has me waiting for the start of the next season. So far, every TWD season finale, including this one passes the test. I don't want fall to get her fast because I hate cold weather, but I am anxious to see what happens next. The finaly of Z Nation actually bumped the show up for me also, because it left me wanting to know what's gonna happen next.
With The Strain, it was the opposite... I swear, I haven't given more that a few seconds thought to what happened after that vampire escaped, leaving the whole crew looking dumb. Oh, I'll happily watch when it comes back, but I haven't had any anticipation for it.
