The writers are lazy as hell. If Eph got on the train using a fake id, why did they try to elude to the fact that they think the man who got tossed off the train was Eph?
Another thing I don't understand is: the Mexican wrestler is only about mid 50 or so, and maybe retires 10-15 years ago. Why do they show his films in black and white like it was 50 years ago?

A lot of poorer countries continued to shoot their low-budget stuff in B&W for quite a few years, tho. Another possibility is that they shot in B&W by choice, for atmosphere's sake.
