Nah, brother.
The idea of them taking a trophy from the deadliest prey is what it's all about. That makes MORE sense to me. Not the best skill...
In fact; the idea of them hunting, tracking and killing prey using their existing superior skills & technology is what they're all about.
That's their entire reason for hunting... :dunno:
Not making the "best skill" of their prey their own... :smh:

I was thinking more an alien version of Taskmaster...

Bear in mind; what makes The Taskmaster special is that he's a mutant who's power is picture perfect physical mimicry.
He only needs to see a physical act one time and he can then mimic it perfectly.

The Predator (Yautja) doesn't need any of that.
Why...?
Because The Predator race has LONG mastered and utilized their own far superior technology to facilitate hunting creatures through out the galaxy far deadlier than themselves.
- Interstellar transportation.
- A vast assortment of ADVANCED weaponry.
- Cloaking/camouflage technology.
- Infer-Red/Thermodynamic Spectrum vision.
- Thermonuclear weapons.
- Voice and sound manipulation and mimicry.
- Superhuman strength and agility.
- Superior Intelligence.
- Superior hunting skills and prowess.
- Experiences hunting other larger deadlier races/species throughout the galaxy.

So, with all that, why would they need (or even want) to add human DNA to their already superior physical and mental abilities...?
They would be essentially "dumbing themselves down".

And if you re-watch every Predator film, any time a human managed to defeat a Predator was pretty much due to PURE LUCK!!!!

If anything; I would've preferred to see a movie that focused MORE on their superior tech, weapons and skills which makes them so scary & amazing hunters as opposed to some bullshit DNA project... :smh:

Its actually the sequel to predator 2... Wait a sec to come to think of it let me find out the director is trying to say the ship is the 1 that left danny in the end part 2.. Facepalm if true
OK this doesn't seem to be the same ship from part 2.. But it is a sequel to 1 and 2.. The director wanted Arnold to be in it but he turned it down cause he wasn't feeling the script.. This will take place modern times

Damn.

Isn't this 'HyBrid" shit starting to be played out?

"THE EXPANSE" already has that covered.
And "THE TITAN" too.

Lets see,who out of the three Black characters in this pic will be the first to get merked

My guess would be dude on the far left..Key's character may be the Bill Duke-type(i.e goes crazy after seeing his team members get picked off one by one)..or tries doing the hero sacrifice bit and fails

Just doesn't have that Predator feel to it. Feels forced and corny. Going to sit this one out.
