The Players Tribune: What the Hell Happened to Darius Miles?

I remember seeing a few niggas wearing their jerseys around that time. ... in this football loving city some people didn't even know LA had a second team, so people were sometimes asking "who are the clippers"

Good read.

Wonder why there was no reference to his chick, Brandi Nash. Met her in Miami and shorty had to be in the Top 5 NBA wives of all time. Yes, she was that bad.

If past history is any indicator, shorty prolly bounced after the money dried up, especially given his depression.

Jus found it odd he didn't reference her after so many years of marriage.

Yeah no more college sports video games due to him.

Thing is, they denied they were using their likenesses and said they had the rights to them. Really? Fucking pimping out every star player and team and the athletes barely eating food. Food man. Not anything else but you want them to show up to your games, pull in crowds and don’t get anything while running the risk of being hurt? I hate to say it but Ed was right. NCAA is a pimp like the NFL, maybe bigger

this guys put the clippers on the map, they weren't winning a lot of games but them lops where crazy. People say I look like this nigga miles, hes only 37 i am 35 but he looks twice my age:dunno::dunno::dunno:.. i remember in college i used to hoop with a head band, everyone would be like Darius miles hahaha sometimes i will be like nah cause hes knees was getting bad at the time, I will be like I am more like KG. I am old i didn't know he was only 37.

good read..... folks outside of IL and MO just don't know bout ESL.... that place is wild.... a small town of nothing but projects....

I went Zero Dark Thirty on everybody. I wasn’t answering anybody’s texts. I wasn’t even answering Qs texts. And it wasn’t like people weren’t trying to help me, but I didn’t want the help. I was just … gone.
Yep, that's basically how it goes!

Nice read... I always remembered this guy from back then when i hear the last name but never could think of his first name
