The same damn sneaker came out two years ago, and they sat. There wasn't a ten minute sell out on NDC. Eastbay didn't crash. There were no long lines at Footlocker with people waiting overnight. They were in stores for a couple of weeks. They didn't go on sale, but everyone could have easily had multiples.
Dudes haven't even seen the packaging or know how hard they'll be to get. Just Nike Air and want them.
Honestly I don't know what happened, things started getting bad with the release of Copper Foams. Then it was the original South Beach Lebron's. Craziness got worse with the Space Jams but the sneaker market truly went insane with the release of the Concords last year. It hasn't been the same since.

For me the "Nike Air" represents a time period and my first memory of the shoes. I don't care if they're limited or if there's a surplus I want the shoe. I bought the black IV's that were just released and they just don't do it for me with the Jumpman logo on the back.

Looks like he had a good rep prior to the xi's. Im guessing he got fucked on his orders by his usual supplier. I was considering grabbing the V's on pre-order from him too. Looks like he canceled all those auctions now.
