c/s. McCain to come out of this with only a tie is a loss..big time failure... what is he going to do? win the debate on the economyMcCain's opportunities to get back in this race are dwindling daily
u cant settle for a draw
u cant let a lying old man get off his lies without responding
obama let mccain dominate him - bullshit lies or not he overspoke him
never concede shit
he should have gotten passionate about mccain lying,
for example he coulda said
"john youre showing us why you couldnt define the word honor when a journalist asked you the other day. The 4000 dead soldiers who died fighting people who had nothing to do with 911 deserve better. Dont dishonor yourself by rejecting truth John."
And thats where we differ... with me you either one way or the other. I don't respect people who "ride the fence"... but I do know that if he didnt ride it he wouldnt be this close to a win.
so it comes down to do you want to be respected for being true to yourself or for being turned into a puppet to become president?!
Kitty I think you are misinterpreting this man seversly. This is not an ACT! If you look at old footage and here people talk about him, this is who he is.
You acting like he was Malcolm X and then cleaned it up. If that was the case he would have been exposed long time ago.
He is not "riding the fence" ya'll. Obama is and we are seeing now that he is his OWN man. Love it or Hate it, he will win or lose this election without selling HIMSELF out.

I respect people who know how to maneuver in a clever manner without sacrificing their principles. The man has had the wherewithal to make it this far...underestimating his strategy, which has worked thus far, makes no sense at this point.
If the bank failure and wallstreet "clusterfuck" hadn't happen this week, I'd agree with you. Americans are idiots when it comes to politics. However, with the economy so clearly in the shitter, I think independents and those blue collar workers might pay a little bit more attention to the substance. I think to those people who might even lean McCain, they are sitting at home going "okay, but what about the substance?" This economy shit I believe (I hope) has made people become more aware that the issues matter. As far as strict debating goes - mccain was pummeled- but this isnt a real debate - its american politics and although Obama won all points on accuracy and honesty McCain punched and ran around looking busy at the end and confused the retarded biased judges - that didnt have to happen- Obama could have just bludgeoned him but he didnt
thats weakness - people dont respond to that shit on a subconscious level
All Obama needed to do was neutralize McCains strong point: National and Foreign Security which he was supposed to run away with tonight. He failed at making a clear distinction that he's the best one to trust. Each base agrees with their candidate. You can't judge the performance by that. Independents have been responding well with Obama.
Fuck the spin machine.

next stop..... the palin debate

thats why BO had to do it with a patriotic calm tone- "our country needs you to be honest john, why cant you do it john? our nation needs the maverick mccain not the keating 5 mccain"
mccain would flip the fuck out
yeah theres no way in hell mclame wins fair and square(no mason) but theyre gonna pull out all the stops

Guilliani counted 16 times. NBC had Bidden to talk about the debate for the Dems. They asked for Palin to talk for the Repubs, but they said HELLL NOOO! and sent Gulliani instead. WTF? They got that bitch chained in the basement, like a crazy aunt!![]()

Lets keep it real son... thats not going to be a debate, thats gonna be an annihilation.

word

Yall watching CNN? One of McCain's advisor is coming with that heat on Obama....true or not, it was heat LMAO

you're missing the point here, I spoke too soon(do you see the youtube clip princess postedBut yet he's the candidate and not her??? how is that getting killed??
) get it now?nice avy.
aiight, it was a draw, but barack did his thing. i had to catch myself from expecting a knockout, but all the pundits are saying he looked presidential, and held his own, considering this is mcstoopid's expertise.![]()
word up - people dont want to reach across the fuckin aisle - they want to burn down the other half of the fuckin room for being dumbasses who fucked everything upI have to agree with you. Obama should have merked McCain tonight. People are really pissed off at the Republicans and Obama had a chance to make McCain look like a old confused man.
I believe Obama just ripped that ass. I would be surprised if he doesn't get a nice bump in the following polls.
I know some of you disagree, and think he should have dug in that ass. I disagree. He appeared to be the calm, cool, diplomatic candidate who will convincingly argue that he can work together in a bipartisan manner to solve our biggest issues.
He didn't back down, he didn't give anything up, he was decisive, competent. That's the type of president people are looking for now. Someone who will have the balls to agree on points, but still disagree on the bigger issue.
Plus, McCain is waning right now. He picked a horrible running mate, he continues to use talking points instead of answering the questions. Obama ripped him repeatedly on Kissinger stating that he thinks the next president needs to meet with Middle East leaders without preconditions (it seems that McCain didn't know the stance of his own advisor).
Over and over, Obama made the point that McCain has been wrong and will not admit it. That will resonate with the independents who just want a president who will do whatever it takes to solve the major issues.
Yeah, he didn't go for the jugular... but he doesn't have to at this point. He's smarter than that, the media is ripping McCain and Palin, he doesn't need to. It will make it easier for him to work together across party lines once he's president. Eventually he will drive that point home once it's too late for McCain to make the same claim after his and Palin's divisive campaigning.
I respect people who know how to maneuver in a clever manner without sacrificing their principles. The man has had the wherewithal to make it this far...underestimating his strategy, which has worked thus far, makes no sense at this point.

but wait... so you sitting up here telling me that you really think Obama was clueless to what Rev. Wright was really preaching about?!

CNN and Fox polls are showing that Obama won the debate...
